The color is a bit more towards a mustard hue than the soft butter hue I was looking for but it works. It goes nicely with the mint color Nostalgia Retro Series toaster I have. Time will tell how well it performs but so far it works like any other 800 watt microwave. The features are simple to use. I didn't need the manual to set the clock or to figure out how to make it run. If you want a colorful kitchen color with a retro look this will do the trick. It did come with a nick in the finish by the back screw on the right side. It was covered by a sticker that was easily removed. For that I give it 4 stars. It looks like it was purposely covered with the sticker. Not enough of a blemish to bother sending it back but disappointing it is there. ... show more

Got it because it was cute and I loved the color. It cracks me up that it is a retro microwave - - - - since microwaves didn't exist in that time :-) what I've ended up loving about it is the way that you can set the time by spitting the dial. Quiet and compact with a cute retro design. Easy to operate. Heats well. I tested it by heating a mug of water. I have not cleaned it yet as it just arrived today. I really like this brand of microwave, this being my second one. The first gave out recently after several years of use. Something I don't like is the color, I ordered red like the first one, but, it's a fake looking red orangey color. Also, it's obviously cheaper made as it's by far much lighter, which some people might like. However, if one isn't careful when opening the microwave it will pull right off of your counter. ... show more
