Butt hurt? No more!

My fiancé and I both have electric bikes that we use quite often. In the beginning we would often have to cut our rides short because our butts were hurting too much! So what did we do? We came to trusty Amazon on the hunt for a “wide bike seat.” I’m now happy to report that we are able to stay out longer and really ride as long as we want to! Game changer for my eBike

I almost returned this because I didn't think it could be installed on my eBike. The instructions are for "Round Seat Tube", "Peloton Bike" and "Double Rail" Installations. None of them are great with their detail. Not realizing that my eBike fell into the "Double Rail" category, and the seat comes ready for installation for "Round Seat Tube", I didn't think it would fit. I decided to do some YouTube searching and figured out I had a "Double Rail" seat and I needed to remove some of the hardware to make it fit to those rails (instead of sliding onto the tube). Once I got through the installation - I went on my first ride (20 miles) with the seat and it was a complete game changer! I was concerned about "noseless" because of stability (doing research), but that was not a factor at all - stability wasn't even a factor. To the contrary, I didn't have the chafing and pain I typically get in the crotch area when riding with typical "nose" seats which can often shorten my rides. Absolutely NONE! As with all eBikes, they can be a bumpy and the tailbone can take a toll. But, to say it felt like riding on a cloud would be a slight exaggeration, but it is SOOOOO comfortable. The springs absorb the shocks, the seat is the perfect width and it has wonderful ergonomic padding. I'm ready to head out and put on another 20 miles!! I HIGHLY recommend (with possibly some You Tube help).

Not Completely Pain Free

Most bike seats are soooo uncomfortable that they limit how far you can ride. I rode a three wheel trike bike with a tractor seat and it wasn't that bad...so...I was thinking this seat was very similar and should be more comfy and put less pressure on sensitive lower areas. It does for a while, but it still has a protruding "nose" area that you can feel after a few miles. Better than my old seat for sure, but not quite the game changer I was hoping for. However, the construction is good, the materials are decent quality, and the price is fair. So, give it a try and perhaps your next ride will be less irritating and more enjoyable. Keep on bikin' !!

My husband absolutely loves this bike seat! His best friend even rode his bike and said he loved it as well. Per my husband… since there was no nose on the front of the seat, it made for a more comfortable ride. It eliminates pressure on the “areas” that matter most for a comfortable ride. He is a 6’ 265 lb guy and it is perfect for him. We put this seat on his electric bike. Would recommend 100%!!!

I bought this seat to replace the manufacturer saddle on my Peloton Bike+ as a first-time rider. The original seat was so uncomfortable that I could barely sit without back pain. After switching to this noseless seat, my first month of cycling has been far more comfortable and approachable. The installation was quick and easy, and the extra cushioning—along with the noseless design—really helped avoid pressure and soreness in sensitive areas. For anyone just starting out, especially if you’re struggling with pain or discomfort, this is a great transitional saddle. That said, now that I’m getting more confident in my rides, I’ve noticed that this seat slightly limits my ability to execute proper cycling form and certain stretch or strength moves (like leaning back over the saddle). Because of that, I’m planning to try a gel cover on the original seat next to see if it strikes a better balance between comfort and performance. Pros: • Easy to install • Very comfortable for beginner riders • Reduces pressure and soreness thanks to the noseless design • Good value for easing into indoor cycling Cons: • Makes it harder to lean back during in-bike stretches • May interfere with proper cycling form as you progress Overall, I would recommend this bike seat for beginner cyclists. It will help you gain confidence as you get started on your cycling journey. However, it won’t be long before you’re looking into different options.
