I love the leather and durability of these pants. The downside is it has holes that allow a lot of cold air to penetrate the skin. I have tried wearing dual layers and under armour under these pants but the wind is tough to overcome. Below 40 degrees these pants are not going to keep you warm solo. I waited for the size 36 to become available for quite sometime. These are good quality leather riding pants that were well worth the wait. Please note that these pants have perforated air vents, so they are not ideal for colder temperatures.

    • Order a size up, or even two. No crotch gusset = uncomfortable.

This was my first pair of leather pants so I have nothing to compare it to. Fit: I wear a 34x32 in jeans, so I bought the 36 in hopes I could wear it over a lightweight pair of jeans for riding in the colder months, but there isn't enough room. I had to remove the knee pads because the knees were still too tight even though they put stretch fabric. They fit like a slim fit jean. The length is perfect. There is NO crotch gusset which makes it quite uncomfortable (for men). You cannot pull the pants up to your waist without experiencing discomfort. You are forced to wear them around your hips which severely limits movement and is still uncomfortable. I doubt women will have any comfort issues with these. The pants are very heavy and seem well made. I can't test them in a slide but I have no doubt they would protect you just as well as the fancy textile pants. I would quickly pay an extra 50$ for a revised version of these with a crotch gusset for comfort. ... show more

I do a lot of motorcycling and had a set of armored cloth bluejeans, but I did not feel they were likely to provide protection in an accident. These pants are made by the same company that makes Cortech, and I already have a high vis all leather Cortch race jacket. These pants are made well enough, and will definitely up my protection. I find the pants very comfortable when riding. Note that these pants have a zipper fully compatible with the Cortech jacket. For the dollar I do not believe these pants can be beat.
