Seems like a decent boot with the $48 promo deal price. The outer bottom edge of the rubber sole almost felt like sneaker softness. I could squeeze the edge and it slightly gives. Great boots, super comfy and my size fit well. I did have 2 issues - the insole is very thick in the middle of the foot, made my foot cramp - I switched them out and no problem. They are actually waterproof. Bought for hiking trip in Iceland and if ever there was place where you need waterproof, this it. Only time my feet were wet was a day with heavier rain and the water in the boots ran down my pants and into boots. Good traction and were comfortable too.
