I initially did not like these boots. I found that the even though these are wide, the toe box is still not wide enough. I hiked a mountain trail and when I got down the outside of my big toe had become tender where it was contacting the interior of the boot. I was able to resolve this issue since that trip by wearing 2 pairs of socks, no issues since. I find that the construction of the boot gives excellent ankle support. I recently sprained my ankle rock climbing (pretty bad too), NOT in these boots, but I wore these boots on the two occasions work required me in the office while I was trying to recover. Getting around in these boots was much easier than without, even though I have an ankle support sock. I also feel like my ankle is protected in these. I opted for trail runners when I went rock climbing and sprained my ankle. I am certain that, had I been wearing these rather than trail runners, the sprain would not have happened. I have seen complaints from others about the boots coming apart after one or two wears. That has not been my experience at all. I truly do find these to be pretty solid, and they currently have in the neighborhood of a couple hundred miles on them. These are waterproof, as promised. I know because my favorite trail in my area has a section that is completely primitive and prone to flooding. I have stepped into boggy mud that came up and covered the boots, and my feet remained dry. Once, as I was just headed back through the 2 mile section of trail, the skies opened and I was caught in a downpour, and my feet remained dry. The only complaint that I have about these boots is that the cushioning is not as thick as I would expect. There have been times where trails have become rocky and it just isn't comfortable, or I may be asking too much of them. In the spirit of transparency, its important to note that these are my first legit pair of hiking boots. I've always just worn trail runners before. So my complaint might not be reasonable. Those types of trails are not exactly comfortable in trail runners either.

Haven't had them for too long, but they're decently comfortable and sized well. The laces aren't great but that's okay. I've not taken them on an overnight or anything but have done yard work and just worn them around. They're durable enough so far.

Las botas llegaron y se ven de buena calidad, esteticamente son bonitas pero pedi mi talla basandome en la guia de tallas del producto y no corresponde con lo que llega, entonces si uno calza 9.5 es mejor pedir el mismo 9.5 y no basarse en la guia de tallas.

These boots took a couple days to break in. It rained recently and I walked through puddles after, my feet stayed dry up to the top of the boot. It’s also worth mentioning that the boot is relatively supportive and comfortable to wear. Definitely a good buy for the features and price.

Good traction.... But I ordered one size larger than what I usually wear. Especially with hiking boots because I wear thicker socks. Regular shoes I purchase online I usually order 1/2 size larger. Definitely worth the price.
