  • Style, Comfort, Anti-Fatigue, Work, Casual, Operator, LEO BOOT
Size: 7.5 Color: Black
I've had these boots for under two weeks but I've worn them a minimum of 12 hours a day. Originally I was attracted to the appearance of them, I don't understand people saying in reviews that the look is odd. First off, why did you pick them if you thought this? Second, the look is one of the reasons I choose them over others because they actually stand out compared to the same look of all other boots. Next, but probably the main reason I decided to try them was hopes of the thick soles offering Anti-Fatigue effect. I have severe chronic fatigue and at 42 years old on my 3rd cancer and my bones and spine are literally crumbling. I desperately needed and wanted to find something that could or would alleviate even an ounce of pain and stress on my body. Well thus far, these really feel great and so far they do seem to offer relief. The material and weight are great, they are not heavy clunky boots. They feel more like high top sneakers. The waterproof exterior seems to be very effective also. I do agree with one review about replacing the laces because they provide flat ones and rounded laces are much for effective in performance and look. As far as the price, again I'm shocked to read half these reviews are from people who got these shoes for free and they have the nerve to complain about the price in any manner. In terms of price they truly are a great value, any competitor boot is easily twice as expensive. Especially when you are looking for an Anti-Fatigue style shoe. And again back to the style, these stand out and look amazing. I rarely write reviews, but I really do love these boots so far. If I have any complaint at all is I've noticed slight cracking on top of the toe area and even though I've worm them heavily these few weeks, I havent bent them almost at all. But hands down I would say these are great duty boots for anyone in the field. But also anyone searching for a stylish and comfortable boot for any occasion. ... show more

  • Not the prettiest, but waterproof and good for cold weather hiking
Size: 10 Color: Dark Brown
I used these over the winter for hiking on snow covered trails and they kept my feet dry and warm. They are not insulated, but they do not breathe especially well - with thick wool socks my feet were warm down to 20 degrees while I was moving. I'm not sure how great these would be for warmer weather hiking because if I could use them as a winter boot with no insulation, I imagine in 80 degrees plus summer sun they might not feel so great. The cushioning is adequate but nothing spectacular, and they are mostly pretty comfortable to wear. I had extra cushioning from the thick socks, but I think they'd be okay with regular socks as the fit is definitely more athletic than some of the other more robust boots I have. The sole is glued on, and while it seems sturdy and I haven't seen any give yet, they probably will not last as long as a sewn or nailed sole that more expensive boots offer. That being said, you're also getting these significantly cheaper than other high-end hikers. The sole offers some slip resistance but it's not a true non-slip like the Vibram soles on my other boots. You'll be fine for most less-technical trails without a lot of climbing and that aren't especially slippery. I like the boots, and I'll keep them for cooler weather outdoor hiking, but I probably will switch to something else for the warmer season. I have other Nortiv boots that have held up for years, and I expect these probably will, too. Unless you're doing the most extreme hiking, climbing you'll probably be okay with these. They're a good bargain, especially if you like the somewhat... unique design. :) ... show more

Size: 12 Color: Army Green
They are very comfortable and stylish. Waterproof and easy to clean. So far I can say they are a great purchase worth the money. It's been a week since I've been wearing them. Jay

  • Good quality and the sizing is spot on
Size: 11 Color: Dark Brown
I blew my knee out the day after I got the them, so I havnt been able to wear them around yet. I was able to try them on when I received them. They were very comfortable so far, they seem well made, the sizing is spot on

  • Okay for the price
Size: 9.5 Color: Dark Brown
For the price these are descent boots. The fit is good. The ankle material is soft against your ankle and is shaped to give support but still allow easy motion while walking. The sole is very thick and in a contrasting color. It's a glued to the rest of the boot. The ones I got had no stitching or quality issues. They appear to take pride in their product. The in sole is comfortable right out of the box. I didn't need to break these in. These are waterproof boots. They not only appear to be coated in a something to make them shed water, they also have a membrane inside. They do not breathe very well. I think I will only be able to wear them in the colder months because of this. ... show more

  • Moderate warm weather use, not suggested for wet of off-trail
Size: 11 Color: Black
ID: B0CRB5X726 Description: NORTIV 8 Men's Waterproof Hiking Boots Lightweight Non-Slip Outdoor Ankle Trekking Boots Size: 11 Color: Black Brand: NORTIV Quantity: 1 pair 240305 | 240308 | 240507 TLDR Summary: Moderate warm weather use, not suggested for wet of off-trail Comes with flat laces more suited to a regular shoe. Replaced with rounded laces that are more appropriate for a "boot" which improved the lacing and wear comfort. Decent tread, though slightly shallow compared to other hiking wear. Toe edge is reinforced along the leading edge, though the top is not reinforced, and feels very thin. Heel is similarly reinforced. Tongue material is cloth, and lacks any weather proofing. Sides are nearly as thin as the top of the toe. Decently padded, wears comfortably. Overall, suitable for most trail/city trekking and environments, though not suggested for 'off trail' due to thin toe top and sides, and the tongue material is likely to end up with soaked feet in wet conditions. ... show more
