Bought these for the dirt racetrack where I live 6 months a year. They're really comfortable and the dirt blends nicely with the color of the shoes. LOL The tread is really good and grips well.

These hiking shoes are comfortable right out of the box and provide good support for long walks and trails. The waterproofing works well, keeping my feet dry in wet grass, shallow puddles, and light rain. The tread grips nicely on dirt, gravel, and uneven terrain, making them versatile for different outdoor activities. I wear them a lot, and with heavy regular use they do not last as long as I would like. The soles and material start showing wear faster than higher-end hiking shoes. However, for someone who hikes only occasionally or uses them for lighter activities, they should last a long time. The fit is true to size, and they are comfortable enough for all-day wear. Impressed so far! Never bought shoes I couldn't try on first, but there's a real lack of shoes under $150 in Portland. These look and feel much bigger than the ones they're replacing, which are also a 9 Wide. I'd say it truly is wider than my old ones. These won't get as broken in now that I primarily use a wheelchair, so they should last a long time. The shoes are soft inside too, so I lucked out there. That's the mail reason I otherwise wouldn't buy shoes online. With my neuropathy, I need that soft, cushy insole. Love the green color too! ... show more

The shoe itself seems fine but the size chart is completely inaccurate. I should have just ordered my normal size but wasn’t sure how they would fit. According to the size chart what I ordered should have fit but they were an entire size too big.

My wife and I absolutely love this brand. What a great value. I have owned a ton of work boots and hiking shoes from Keen to Danner. My first pair of Nortiv8 composit toe work boots were perhaps the most comfortable off the shelf boot I have owned. The fact that they were $40 and lasted 9 months in my industry is great. I normally am in and out of boots in under 1 year, even if they are $300/ pair. I would highly recommend people try a pair. These hiking low tops have been great so far. I was looking for something inexpensive to hike in Colorado and this is what I found. They are very comfortable and worked extremely well. I never felt like I was going to slip. Since my hiking trip I have been wearing them to work. I am walking/standing on concrete floors for 5-6 hours per day and these still feel great. I also wear these while shoveling snow and have never had wet feet when I’m done. They still look new with very little wear.
