  • Great Boots, But Watch the Sizing
Size: 9 Color: Olive
These hiking boots are really nice and the quality honestly surprised me. They have a great aesthetic that pairs well with casual camping clothes. The only issue I ran into was with the sizing. I typically wear a size 8.5 to 9 depending on the brand, but when I ordered a size 9, they were way too big. I had my father-in-law, who wears a size 10.5, try them on, and they fit him perfectly. So, the sizing seems to be a bit off. Overall, they’re a great boot, but I’d recommend being cautious with sizing. ... show more

  • ATHLETICALLY REPELLING WATER WITH SUPPORT AND CUSHIONING
Size: 11 Color: Grey/Black
It's not the canoeing, it's the portage. Water and hiking will eventually happen. It could be a walk around the block, a commute, or, a trip to the lake. Having the comfort, and support of a good shoe, is essential, over the long haul. PROS: Since Hiking, is not just for the Wilderness, there has to be a shoe that can go from, Casual Friday, to Saturday Camping, and Fishing. Gravel, Sand, and more Challenging Terrain, are easy to find. Urban Landscapes, are just as tough. Hard Surfaces, and Landscapes that change, are what Hybrid-Style Hiking Boots, are good for. If you can't change shoes, every time the conditions change, These Boots, are a Great Choice. These are, The Men's Lightweight Hiking Boots Waterproof Breathable Outdoor Trekking Camping Ankle Boots, Fern Color), from, The NORTIV 8 Store. With Waterproofing, Ankle Support, and Cushioning, Hiking over Multiple, Wet, Hard, and Surfaces needing Ruggedly Built Athletic Shoes. Regular Athletic Shoes, would not give the Type of Traction and Support, with the Bonus of being able to keep feet dry. Go off-pavement, and back, with Hiking Boots that are, All-Weather and Supportive to The Task of Everyday Hiking. CONS: These are, Hybrid-Style Boots. They are Athletic, and can Negotiate Terrain More Challenging than Sidewalks, and Wet Grassy Slopes. However, if Conditions are more than Gravel, and Loose Rocks, there may be an out of element situation, as the Soles are Aggressive, but not for Extreme Conditions So, No Mountain Climbing. And, Water Deeper Than ones ankles, may be for different apparel. ... show more

  • Runs large. Had to return
Size: 12 Color: Grey/Black
I usually wear size 11, 11.5, or 12 depending on the show style and manufacturer. they didn't have size 11.5 when I ordered so I ordered 12, figuring I could wear some thicker socks. Size 12 felt more like a 13. It was very very big. Ended up returning it. If you order, you might want to go 1/2 or 1 size small. ... show more

  • Comfy Hiking boots
Size: 10.5 Color: Grey/Black
It has beeeeeeen Ages since I had a nice set of hiking boots. These are nice and really comfortable. Im still getting use to them as Im a tennis shoe kinda guy but I plan on getting out more and some of my shoots are on the beach or terrain that has nearly taken out my ankles before. So plan on wearing them and doing say Yard work and the like (my yard has multiple types of terrain.) So they are super easy to put on. I like my shoes slightly loos so my feet do not feel cramped but laces tight and BOY can you get your laces tight with these shoes. There are 4 hooks at the top that allow you to get them on quickly and as tight as you want. It's been a long time since I have Laced these kinds of boots. I remember helping my dad when he worked for Ma Bell (Bell Telephone) I wanted to learn how to lace them. He was retired Marines so he knew how to lace them. He did this one thing with one hand where he got all those hooks (except one) with what looked like one move, Then had them tied. Guess practice makes perfect. The insole is very comfy nice to step on. I feel the stability in my ankles when wearing these WAY better than my last boots. These are hiking boots and do not have the Steel Toe like my last one, but not a deal breaker. These are for hiking now warehouse like my old ones. So here is to new adventures and longer walks.. ... show more

  • A very rugged and durable pair of hiking shoes while maintaing lightweight
Size: 8.5 Color: Grey/Black
The sizing chart was accurate for me as it fit perfectly with the 8.5 men size I usually go for. Despite having wide feet these shoes hug me comfortably. The quality of these boots are very rugged and screams durability during initial testing but only time will tell. In terms of warmth these shoes doesn't provide heat keeping material so you'd have to wear some winter socks in the cold. The style of these shoes are on the serious side and looks very mature, works great on many outfits. At $59.39 it's sitting at a competitive price range in hiking shoes category. Only thing of note for me is that these shoes are hard to bend in so any sort of running or crouching in them might be met with resistance. However any hard or uneven terrain such as during winter these shoes can handle with ease. ... show more

  • High quality, comfortable boots
Size: 11 Color: Grey/Black
High quality, great looking Hiking boots. They repel dew and are easier to clean than any of my other boots and they are comfortable. My feet measure to a 10-1/2 EE so I usually end up ordering size 11 since I haven't seen many Amazon vendors that offer my size, usually, they fit fine, this pair seemed a little bit bigger than 11, but it doesn't matter since I use heavy wool socks with hiking boots anyway. They are noticeably more comfortable than the other boots I have and they're not broken in yet. I'm happy with them! ... show more
