I have size 13 so it is hard for me to find comfortable shoes and an affordable price. I really like these hiking boots a lot, they are lightweight yet very heavy duty. I would recommend them.

I bought these shoes for work in a warehouse, as I’m on my feet for ten hours a day there and wanted something comfortable for my barking dogs if you know what I mean. I bought some insoles to put in them, but ended up keeping the insoles that came in the shoes because they are actually very comfortable! I can actually feel the cushioning every step I take, it’s nice on a concrete floor! My only dig on them is, they seem to rub on my right little toe so at first it felt like a blister was forming, none formed but it was a bit uncomfortable when it happened, but my toe toughened up to it and I love them for work! Maybe I’ve just got a weird toe, so I recommend these for work or hiking, the price was great and they are good quality, I even ended up buying my 7 year old son a pair from the same company and those are great as well! Nice solid shoes for a fair price!

I would not use these for long-haul hiking, but for intermediate-level hiking, they are more than adequate. Can't beat the price. I'm using them for work boots - rough carpentry - and they are great. Comfortable and stable.

I SOOOO wanted to like these. Unfortunately the area from the ball of the foot to the toe is INCREDIBLY UNCOMFORTABLE! I have a pair of Columbia hiking SHOES, which are very comfortable and have worn in the Colorado Rockies, and wanted a pair of hiking BOOTS for more inclement weather. I searched for something that wasn't too expensive but had a similar construction to my Columbia shoes. These SEEMED to fit the bill. After they arrived I tried them on and they seemed to fit okay and so I put them in the closet until I needed them. When that day finally came after a few weeks I found that the area of the insole between the ball of the foot and the pads of the toes was VERY UNCOMFORTABLE when I walked for any distance at all!! The structure of the sole mold DUG into the underside of my toes whenever they gripped as I walked. They've been HORRIBLE! In the end I tried TWO different add-in insoles, the first a $12 gel pair and FINALLY a $20 sports/running insole from Dr. Scholls that had a bit thicker toe area. For just tooling around they are finally "okay" but I still would not try to wear them for a full day of hiking in the mountains!! The extra insole made the fit at the toe-box too snug/tight. And so... for an "okay" pair of hiking boots I had to spend the EXTRA $20 for insoles. Not much of a bargain. :-(

I received these boots for Christmas for an upcoming hiking trip. I’ve only worn the boots hiking about a half dozen times. At first I really liked them. They are very comfortable and worked well on the various terrain. However after a couple times using them the material on the one boot became very hard and the material was no longer flexible. It is difficult to put my foot in that boot because it is so hard. I would not buy these boots again.
