This fit my DeWault random orbital sander PERFECTLY ! (mine is 5” wide, with 8 holes—and hook & loop fastening) This little kit contains a new plate to replace the old (you need to use the screws that are already on there), 4 sponge-type pads that Velcro right onto your new hook n loop plate, and THESE sponges have Velcro as well so that you can attach any one of the Many sanding discs that are included. There were quite a few, ranging from 100 grit to 400 grit! I am so glad I bought this….my DeWault random orbital sander is working so much better now.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I needed a replacement hook and loop pad and this fit the bill. It's a simple replacement with 4 screws and presto I'm back using my random orbital sander. The extra padding and different grit sandpaper was a great bonus. The sandpaper is decent nothing really special but it does work well. The value is great compared to purchasing a brand name and seems to be well made. The adhesive of the hook and loop works stellar. Overall save a few $ and get this repair/replacement set for your Dewalt random sanders.

the base plate does not fit my bosch random orbital sander but the sanding sheets work great. The sanding sheets have the grain written on the back so you'll know which one you're using and for how many sanding sheets you get you really can't beat the price. Installation is not difficult at all. As for performance I can tell you that if you are working on big projects you will be switching sheets out often. It's not that they're bad. It does its job but they are not long lasting like other brands but still I wouldn't pass this up if you are in a pinch. The grain goes from 400 to 100. It goes 400, 320, 240, 180, 150 and 100. I'm going to be good for awhile on sanding disks and the hook and loop makes it so convenient it's just hard to pass up.

This kit had everything I needed and more for the Dewalt sander I recently used. I really only required the sanding discs, but it’s great to have all the extra accessories for the future. The sanding discs fit perfectly on the sander. I was working on a large project which required several different grits. It was convenient to have all of them readily available in this pack. There are so many included that I didn’t even end up using all of them. I could not tell any difference between these and the name-brand ones available at the local hardware store. I was able to finish up my project in one afternoon because the discs worked great and this pack contained all the pieces you could possibly need.

This set of replacement sanding discs, foam pads and replacement metal backplane is a NO BRAINER purchase for $17 (at the time of this review.) Every item in the set is high quality, and I used only THREE sanding pads for a community project that lasted over two hours. The replacement foam pads and metal backplate fit perfectly on my DeWalt 20 cordless sander, although I did not need to use them. (I DID try the plate out and it installed precisely on my 20v cordless DCW210 and my corded DWE6421 sanders. This entire kit will set you back as much as a couple of packs of ten sanding pads at your closest hardware store. Save yourself the trip and order this kit instead. Five solid stars from me!

I recently purchased a Milwaukee RO Sander after losing my Makita Sander Toolbag that included a lot of these discs, adapters and foam pads and i remember paying A LOT more for a set of 5" Discs. There isn't much to add other than the fact that they stick in place with the velcro straps, the holes are perfectly aligned with my RO sander and after sanding for hours the holes were still perfectly aligned, and the grit was good as new, i expected to have to swap it but didn't need to. Overall this is a comprehensive kit for RO Sanders, and at this price point, you won't find a better deal anywhere, definitely recommended.
