First, I am somewhat of a gear snob and usually spend between $150 and $250 for boots of this type for this purpose; and I am not a youngster, so I have been through many miles and pairs of boots over the years; and a high percentage of them in the wilds of Alaska. These aren't Scarpa, Danner, La Sportiva, Lowa, or Salomon quality; but they aren't priced anywhere near those brands either; and so far, I don't think you can beat the "bang-for-the-buck". All that said, this is an INITIAL review as I just recently received these and can't speak to their durability. What I can speak to is the following. They are a visually attractive boot that are lightweight and appear to be fairly well made. I took them right out of the box and was so impressed with their flexibility that I took them on about an eleven mile trek combining both on and off trail, just north of the Arctic Circle without breaking them in. Not smart, I know, but I am somewhat of a gambler and won this one as I had no problems and was comfortable. I followed that up the next day with a similar almost fourteen mile trek with similar results. The third day, I backed it off to about an eight mile jaunt on a little more challenging terrain, predominately off trail, and aside from a couple of hot-spots on the top of my middle toes (probably due to lighter weight socks), I had no problems at all. My feet stayed dry and for the most part comfortable; and the boots provided good support and traction. I will have to wait and see how they hold up (and I suspect that they probably won't match the durability of the aforementioned brands), but given the SIGNIFICANT difference in price, and the similarity in performance, I would highly recommend these boots to anyone; and ESPECIALLY to anyone that isn't already familiar with the fit and characteristics of some of the higher priced boots, because they don't all fit the same and they have different characteristics, and by the time you find out exactly what those factors are and how well they fit your needs, it is usually too late to return them. I will report back on durability if and when I get a chance.

I work outside in all weather conditions with dirt, water, farm animals, landscaping, uneven terrain, etc. I normally purchase high-end, expensive boots. I got this pair of boots in a rush when the soles on my other boots started falling off. I have been wearing these boots everyday and all day since their arrival. Not one blister and they’re very comfortable. No signs of significant wear (holes, soles, shoestrings)…but they’re dirty at the moment, so I didn’t take a picture. You’ll receive exactly what is pictured along with an accurate description. I didn’t spray them to prevent moisture and yet my feet stay dry and warm. The fit is perfect, so order your normal size. I’ll be ordering another pair!

That’s the only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. My puppy is 4 months old and I heard him squeaking it throughout the night. I’ve also played tug a war with him. So, it’s a great way for me to interact with him and also provides him entertainment while I’m asleep or not present.

After a lifetime of wearing boots and hitting, I’ve discovered that I could have been wearing the best of both worlds with these sneakers. I’m very active and living on property up in the Northern Black Hills. I hike, ride an older ATV and am building out my land. Boots had just been what I’ve worn everyday since my days in Service and even worked out wearing boots. I’ve never before these, found a pair that didn’t feel like slippers. Flimsy and mostly ornate. Not my look. I’m heavily dependent upon Amazon for most everything living out here so I tried their wardrobe program. First 2 styles I ordered I couldn’t justify wearing outside unless I wanted to wear’ slippers’ . Amazon suggestion pops up and shows me these shoes and the size that they said I should try. I am just thoroughly impressed with Amazon, I really am because not only have they found me the Perfect fit and feel, the price ( yes, even these days) was Affordable. These look like me. As if I had them custom manufactured and presented as a gift. So I’m closing ( hopefully I spell name brand correctly) Thank You norti V8 and especially Amazon

I have had the boots for about a week. My use and purpose of purchasing the boots was primarily for use during a boys wee of Fishing In Minnesota. I find the boots comfortable to wear all day while on the boat and while at the camp site. They are a slightly bulky boot but I do not find them overly heavy or tiring to wear. For me the size of the boot seems to run a tad small. I am a 10.5 which I purchased first then exchanged for 11. This gives me the room for a comfortable fit even with slightly thicker socks. I also did treat them with two coats of silicone spray for added protection. I would recommend these boots. I am very pleased. Great value.

I bought these boots for a trip to Germany to see the various Christmas markets in several cities, and hopefully they do not disappoint. Breaking them in now and they have stayed warm and dry the whole week I've been wearing them. They are a touch on the heavy side but for the quality they are well worth the price. Will come back and give a after trip report.

I'm very impressed with these boots. After many years of sitting behind a desk, I was asked on a Monday to help out with some field work that Thursday. I didn't think my loafers would be the right choice for footwear. So I found these boots and thought I'd give them a try. They arrived on Wednesday and I took them for a quick test walk. Seemed fine but the day in the field would be the real test. They were great! Very comfortable. Very supportive. They looked good too. I had no problems wearing them during the day, which included a lot of walking.

This light weight boot is perfect for use in the yard or out and about in the wild. It will not weigh you down and comes with a very nice foot print of grippy knobs and whatnot on the bottom of the sole to help you get along especially in gravel, grass, wet conditions or through the slippery slopes. The price is right too and they do what they are supposed to do, comfortably. I really like the company offering these as they are very responsive in getting back to you with any questions that you may have. 5 stars!!!
