it works ok but not super stable. stable enough to do the exercise but you have to keep your balance. I am not using it as designed. I attach it to something on the wall but my feet don't directly touch the wall so there's nothing the sole of my feet is touching. But it allows me to work on my hamstrings. Quality is great. the adjustment clamp is much better an easier to use than my expectations, and it works great at holding the loop adjustment in place. The knee pad is GREAT...easy, big enough, comfortable, and cannot do anything without the pad, and the pad by itself is worth buying this device.

Ever since I tore my hamstring several years ago while running, I have tried to do Nordic curls to increase muscle strength. It is really hard to find a place to do Nordic curls! My only option is really to have someone hold my feet which isn’t as easy as it sounds and I don’t have people readily available to hold my feet. I did an Amazon search and this was the first thing that came up. I was so excited! After it came in the mail I was using it within about 30 seconds. Super simple to use. I did get with the mat because I didn’t know if my workout mat would be thick enough. The mat is great as well. Very squishy. I’m so excited I can do Nordic curls whenever I want now!

Most gyms (even well-equipped gyms) do not even have a Nordic curl machine. It is a piece of equipment that will mainly just take up space and be seldom used. Also, asking a friend to hold your feet is an unreasonable ask, and it's just not possible to have a friend there every time you want to do Nordic curls. In comes this device to save the day at a low price. It takes a few sessions to get the adjustments and angles correct. But once you do, it works great. This device helps me hits muscles that I cannot easily hit otherwise. I expect this device to last as long as the foam padding lasts. Time will tell how long that is.

I’m 6’2 guy, 195 lbs, and the gym is my life. I’m very conscious about my physique; particularly my small calves. I got this device after a gym buddy shared that he got some good results. I must say, after 6 months of using this device, I’ve gotten compliments by my trainer and I can see more definition. I love that the device easily fits in my bag and is pretty light weight. The versatility is what sold me on the product. Not only do I use it for my hamstrings and calves, I also use it for sit-ups, squats, and core exercises. The foam is sturdy band doesn’t slide. It’s comfortable and includes a heavy duty strap that ensures safe use. I highly recommend.

This is a good concept but I found it difficult to place/use properly or safely and thus my use of it has been limited. Perhaps someone more agile than me could find a way to make this work. If you are not very fit and dexterous, I would be cautious in using this as you could hurt yourself (particularly your back) trying to use this.

I like the adjustability of this strap which makes it easy to use with different doors and for different people in our family. It is one of the least expensive alternatives to a dedicated Nordic machine. The padding is comfortable and the door stopper stays in place reliably. No information on where it is made.
