Description

FAS-GRIP is a unique polymer texturing agent designed for use in most coatings. Available in coarse and fine grades. FAS-GRIP will stir easily into most coatings with minimal effect on the coating viscosity. The low density of FAS-GRIP allows it to stay suspended in the coating rather than sinking, like sand type additives. This allows for a more even application with less mixing. Due to it’s spherical shape, FAS-GRIP is not highly abrasive, and is easy to clean due to its lack of sharp edges. Method 1: For spray brush or roll application, add 10oz of FAS-GRIP non skid particles to 1 gallon of coating.Apply by syphon gun or a pressure pot with agitator. When texture is achieved, apply a sealer coat. Method 2: Apply a tack coat to the non-skid area and then broadcast the FAS-GRIP particles (via a perforated shaker apparatus) to the wet area. Allow to tack up, blow off excess particles and then apply a final coat. FINE Grade Non skid Particles.

Worked great but clogged up the sprayer completely. The couple of spots where i had to finish with a brush (because the sprayer no longer worked) Came out a little clumpy. Overall though, worked great for making the patio less slippery.

All I can say is WOW!!! Better results than I could have hoped for. I was refurbishing my in-ground pool for the first time and using an epoxy paint that was supposed to dry to a porcelain finish, i.e. SLICK. It did, and it was. I needed something for the edging of the pool and, more importantly, the steps going down into the pool. I did a lot of reading on non-slip paint additives and this one seemed to fit the bill. However, rather than mix it into the paint, where I figured 90% of the granules would be below the surface when applied, I used an old plastic cinnamon container and sprinkled the "sand" VERY LIGHTLY over the freshly painted surface. It came out perfect. Great traction, but no sharp feeling on bare feet. As you can see in my photos, the "sand" is more like a sugar, and it settled just into the surface of the paint. Needed to add some grip to stamped concrete off of pool deck. Product blended into sealer perfectly and was still able to be sprayed . I can feel the grip added to the concrete. Same as name brand similar product at much better price! Thanks

We added to our opaque deck stain to get a non-slip surface for our deck. This worked just as advertised. Looks great and seems to hold up well

If you are doing concrete with Epoxy/PolyC coatings, this is the ticket! Those goofy, confetti-like things that they put in the garage floor kits are just too lame for words. Mix this in with your epoxy, and put it on the floor! It prevents the sliperiness, but it's still smooth enough to push water with a squeegee! Mixed in, the particles are evenly distributed, and there's no funny confetti-like things clumped up on the floor, and sealed in where you can NEVER remove them! I've done two of my garage floors in the past, just ordered more for the third! ... show more

I poured this into my concrete sealer and after it dried out. It gave the texture I was looking for on the concrete without altering the looks. Will definitely buy more

First of all it was not as described. It is basically just fine sand. Pretty rough finish. I followed the instructions but as soon as I stepped on my deck, I got white marks. I think the deck paint just grinds off to leave exposed grit. Guess if you used white paint you would see it as much. Not sure how to fix this problem. Find something else. ... show more
