First of all I want to say that I did not buy these from Amazon. I live in Texas and this company is in Texas. These IEM buds are very expensive and I wanted to buy directly from Noble to be sure of the warranty. Now for a little background. I’m a drummer and have used in ear monitors while recording as well as being a self professed audiophile. Though I am not rich by any stretch, I don’t mind paying more for quality that produces the results I expect. I have spent much more on drums and cymbals as well as sound equipment than I should have I guess, but the good stuff is worth it in the end. Throughout my life I’ve spent thousands on quality audio gear for my vehicles and recently bought a truck that had the Bose system. The sound was okay, but okay is not something I have ever settled for. I took the dash out and added a $500 module to bypass the Bose amp and retained the vehicle functions (alerts and such) then added a 5 channel amp and replaced all the door and dash speakers. I added two 10 inch subs. Sounds good, but there was some bit of anemia to it… so I spent a little more for DSP. All told, about $2500, but now it’s like a recording studio in my vehicle. I started hearing about these earbuds called Noble FoKus REX5 from a company in my home state. Reviews said they were fantastic with 5 drivers and excellent sound. I took the plunge and bought them. As soon as they arrived I popped them in (with the installed tips) and lo and behold the sound was pretty good. A little bass forward but still better than the Beats and AKG buds I had been using. I downloaded the app and did the Audiodo hearing test twice. I then put on Pink Floyd Shine On You Crazy Diamond…. My wife came in and saw me and was very concerned. She said she thought I had heard bad news because the look on my face and my mouth was hanging open. What I was hearing was the band playing in front of me. The separation of the instruments was… it was like they were in the room with me. Keyboard on the left side of stage, guitar and bass beside the drummer that was in the center. Ethereal is the only word that fits. I’m not a recording engineer or anything like that so terms they use aren’t my thing, but these are better than any other wireless earbuds or headphones I have ever used. Are they expensive, you dang tootin they are. Are they worth it? You could search and pay thousands trying to match them but why? These are the ones ... show more
