I am not lying when I say I have tried no less then 10 different thermometers like this kind over the years Not just from Amazon but a lot of sites. We bought both name brands like Braun and non brand name ones. None of them worked for any period of time or worked at all or were at times not even accurate. I only purchased this meaning to send down to my daughter in law because my grand baby was going to be having surgery and she has to keep a record before and after of her temps if any but I honestly didn’t have much hope that this would work and she would have to use the dreaded old fashioned kind. I got this and held out hope that I put the 2 batteries in correctly ends up I found this is so easy to use and I was so happy it worked. I used it over a 3 day period on myself and my husband, also on Items around us and even the dog and cats and it was all appropriate to what the under the tongue one showed. YEAH we have a winner. I gave it to my DIl and she was so thankful because there is nothing worse than having to stick a thermometer where the sun don’t shine on a little sick child. Plus its a nice color pink which matches her bedroom. It’s accurate, is easy to store in its original box that it was sent in is sensitive enough to pick up a high or low fever, is easy and comfy to use and depending on the amounts of time you use it that will show what the battery life will be. We are all happy with this purchase.

This is a must have item in the house, or at least my house. My 1 year old hates doing an oral/axillary temp so this was a HUGE help while he was sick. What I really love is that you can silence the beeping. That is what would wake my baby up at night with his other thermometer, so this is perfect for a light, sick sleeper. For the most part, as long as you move hair out of the way , the readings are accurate. I like that it goes from Green, Yellow and Red depending on temperature too. The size is great, not too bulky, very sleek and fits right in my hand- it is small enough to go in your bag for travel!

I’m really have this device in the house. I almost hesitated to buy this device because of the one star reviews I read. Thank goodness I decided to give it a try anyway. I think a lot of those bad reviews are from people that did not bother to read the little manual that came with it. There were a lot of mentions about erratic results. I’m guessing most of those people didn’t know you should not be carrying the device around in your hand for long periods of time (multiple minutes). In the booklet it explains that this devices sensor is very sensitive and the warmth from your hands can affect your results. Most of the time the effects will be small. But if you leave this device laying in the sun shine for a while or some how warm the device itself up. It can throw off the results. And they go on to explain why if you take multiple reading one right after the other why you will not get the same reading every time. But it will be so close as to be irrelevant. I’ve had a couple electronic oral thermometers that I hated. I have service connected hearing loss and couldn’t hear one of them that beeped, and it was slow. And the other used one of those dime sized batteries and it should have been set up to be belt fed. It went through batteries like crazy. So this device has been a refreshing experience. I’m a retired combat medic and ER RN. And the results from this device are accurate enough for the home. And you’ll love it if you have kids. All you have to do is slow them down long enough to get a clear look at their forehead and push the button. You see a green light for 1 to 2 seconds. And you get a result. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this device to anyone. Just take five minutes and sit down with the little booklet that comes with it. Then you’ll understand all you know.

I bought this to replace a thermometer I had bought during the pandemic, which stopped working a while back. This replacement is only slightly larger, but the display is easier to read and it is small, lightweight and easy to carry in a messenger bag when needed. It would also be a great addition to an emergency kit for work or home, in my opinion.

I bought this for myself elderly parents who were still using a shake down mercury one. It’s fantastic for people who have shaky hands or don’t see well! Despite shaky hands they can use it easily as the button press is an instant read. They also can rely on the color coding to know if they have a temperature without having to go find their glasses! All in all, a fantastic thermometer!

This thermometer works well and, more importantly, it has saved me from the battle royale that is trying to check my toddler’s temperature the old-school way. He absolutely hates the one that goes under the tongue—it’s like I’m trying to feed him a spoonful of betrayal. This? Way better. Just a quick scan on the forehead, and boom—temperature check without the drama. We used this a couple of weeks ago when we all got COVID, and let me tell you, having an easy, no-fuss way to check temperatures was a lifesaver. No wrestling a feverish child. No bribing. No chasing a tiny human around the house with a thermometer like some kind of desperate nurse. Just point, press, done. It’s also fast, which is great when dealing with a wiggly toddler who treats staying still like a personal insult. Plus, the memory function is handy for tracking temps, and it even has a silent mode, so I can check on my kiddo at night without waking him up—because waking up a sick toddler is not worth the risk. Final verdict: Works well, super easy, way less stressful than the alternative, and honestly, I should have bought this sooner. Would recommend to any parent who wants to avoid a temperature-taking meltdown.

I had another type before during Covid broke on me. I replaced this with this one woww love this one with the cuff and the lighting is bright to read the numbers. I needed it for after my husbands surgery and this is great. Get one for the kids and the whole family. Great price too!
