**I rated this 5 stars, but I took a half a star off for the bottom brackets.** Let me just say that I love this magnetic mini blind! It's very well made and attractive. It works amazingly well and the magnets are super strong. The blinds stay put and it takes a little bit of effort to get them off the door. They haven't fallen off once. Our side porch door is steel and has a decorative window that faces a park. The window is not super clear, but clear enough that I wanted something to cover it as needed. I originally had super strong magnetic clips that I used to hang a decorative towel but it was a very temporary, very lame look. I'm not handy at all so drilling into the door was never going to happen. I turned to Amazon and found that magnetic blinds are actually a thing, so I measured the window and ordered the blinds. I'm sure happy I did! They came quickly and were very easy to put up. The directions were clear and least to follow. Here's where I deducted half a star. I elected to use the bottom magnetic brackets. They are designed to clip? Or slip onto the frame and for the life of me, I couldn't get them onto the bottom frame bar thingie. I even tried heating the plastic brackets up but no luck. So, I decided to get out my stash of Command Strips and a ended up turning the brackets upside down and using the command strips to affix the brackets to the frame. It looks a little odd because they are longer then the width of the frame, but...it worked and enabled me to affix the bottom frame to the door do the binds don't swing around. The other thing was that part of the metal on the blinds was rusty, but it didn't prevent the blinds from functioning correctly or hinder their performance. I used the magnetic blinds for metal door, at first I was a little skeptical of the weight of the blinds and the magnetic not being strong enough to hold it up but the magnet is very strong! I am very impressed! It works great! Installation was easy!

I’ve been searching for the “perfect” magnetic mini blinds for 5 years. The biggest issues and factors for me are overall magnet strength, presence of bottom magnets and blind durability. I’ve only had these on my door for a day but based on my initial observations and past experiences with other blinds, these are far superior to any other magnetic blinds I’ve had on my door. The magnets are incredibly strong, there are magnetic clips to secure the bottom of the blinds to the door so they don’t swing, and the blinds seem to be much better quality. And, the bonus is that there are no strings which is a feature that I greatly appreciate. Also, installation was very easy. Before ordering, I saw that this is a highly returned item. I now understand why and here is what you need to know so that you don’t have to order them twice: The top magnets are mounted to your door about 3 full inches above the window. See the picture in my review. I measured my window and ordered blinds in the “standard” size that I had ordered in other brands in the past, which was 24” x 40”. I was very surprised to discover that they were a few inches too short after I mounted them but I understood why, because the magnetic mounts are placed 3” above the window. My actual window and frame measures 23.5” x 37.5”. I initially ordered 24” x 40” and those were about 3” too short for the window/frame. When I reordered, I went with 23.75” x 48” and they are perfect. There is a little extra length at the bottom but it’s not an issue whatsoever. These blinds are very high quality, The mounting brackets and magnets are strong. They have a much higher quality appearance than any other door blinds I’ve used. So, if you’re on the fence, order them. You will not be disappointed. Just measure and accommodate the mounting brackets. ... show more

This is a great mini blind for my door. It was easy to install, some pieces I had to play with a little bit but as the instructions state, a little force was needed as the fit is tight. It is held tightly to my door with the magnets. I am very happy with this purchase.
