I knew going in that I would need to thin the paint but I am never able to achieve a smooth, uniform spray pattern with this device no matter how thin the mixture is. At best I get a uniform sputter pattern. I am using acrylic paints and I am aware that acrylics are not ideal for airbrushing so I will continue to experiment with different paints or pigments. As an added bonus there was a moment where the air pressure went into the bottle instead of the nozzle, causing a spout of white paint to splash across my garage.

Bought this for my Hobbyist daughter-n-law. No experience with air brush but this seems to work continuously while plugged into charger, no noted heat build up. Battery time runs as advertised. Swap-color modules is a great idea and should be standard. No idea how non-water based paints perform, but water based paint out of bottle is too thick, clogs within minutes of use but cleans easy with water. No thinning suggestions available anywhere. We experimented with 40-50% water and the product worked continuously but color brilliance suffered. On going effort. I love this product. Manufacturing quality is solid, nothing looks cheep and it feels good. I would recommend and am considering purchase for plastic model application. Will update later.

I'm not a hardcore plastic airplane builder BUT I like the look of an airbrushed product. For not investing in a full-on compressor and brush this gets the job done. Having extra bottles and doing things quick this is a good investment. I've used for a few months and it's reliable you just need to keep it clean and have spare bottles handy. The .5 and .3 nozzles work with maybe one or two issues with clogging. I meticulously clean up after so I'm ready for the next round. It's improved the quality of my paint work for sure. This would be the bridge to maybe a more sophisticated set up. I think it works pretty good.

If these existed a few years ago, I could have saved myself hundreds of dollars trying out various airbrush systems. I run a temporary tattoo booth, and these airbrushes have made it so much more fun to operate. I had to be delicate and careful with other airbrush systems, and certainly couldn't offer a wide variety of colors. I use five of these so my partner and I can both be doing tattoos at the same time, since we can pass these back and forth across the table. It also greatly reduced setup and teardown time for the booth, because we can just cap the airbrush modules and put them in a bin. The only cleaning we've had to do on the airbrushes is that after a few hours of use enough overspray has wound up on the outer edge of the nozzle to impede spray, but a quick squirt of alcohol and a paper towel get that cleaned up in half a minute, and again that's after heavy usage.

First I will say I used this air gun multiple times a week in my shop and it is handy that each bottle has its own spray nozzle, so you don’t have to clean out bottle each time you change colors… but it’s not maintenance free, you still have to take tip off and clean it after every use or it will dry and clog. Second and most important draw back is if bottle ever leaks ( example: don’t tighten bottle all the way) liquid will leak down into the gun and you will have to take the whole gun apart unplug battery from circuit board before it ruins anything, and clean everything and let it dry then reassemble. I have had this happen couple of times and it suck’s. Company needs to make gun part more water tight since liquid sits above all the electronics and at this price point I don’t think I will repurchase unless they fit this issue or decrease price point where you not out so much of this happens, but I do like the design though

I so loved this airbrush it was genius idea especially for doing fast paced makeup work for our haunted creatures . But it did not deliver it function about 10% of the whole haunted season. I take responsibility for %50 for not filtering pain t before hand . Alcohol based paints dry to fast for this . And the "no clean statement is false or worded wrong . I see now they give you an abundance of nozzles which probably helps the clogging .
