So, as someone who had ZERO experience with airbrushing (and therefore unfamiliar with what others might refer to as "traditional equipment"), I was looking for an airbrush to use to create custom sneakers, practice with, perhaps add some custom highlights to my vehicle, etc. when I came across THIS particular one here on Amazon. I decided to give it a shot and also purchased a couple cheaper options for a "battery-powered airbrush" as well, with my plan being to put all of them to the test, determine WHICH design functioned best, and then using the "winner" for my upcoming projects. This machine did EXACTLY what it advertised, as I followed the instructions closely, thinned my paint properly, and used the adjustments to achieve what I was looking trying to do. The ONLY thing I can't really attest to is it's longevity...as I rarely use mine, but it hasn't disappointed me thus far. The other models I tested were EXTREMELY inconsistent, each having their advantages and flaws. I've since tried other models as well and THIS is the best overall design, ALWAYS up for whatever project I'm working on at the time and with the simplest of "clean-up" and aftercare.

The concept is very good but it is absolutely impossible to get additional paint bottles. The number 8 nozzle described in the manual is not included in the set. The utility of the device is severely limited by the lack of spare parts and/or clearly indicated supplier/manufacturer: it simply means that if anything goes wrong after 30 days Amazon warranty period, you are stuck with a very expensive and a very useless THING. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS AFTER CONTACTING THE COMPANY My nteraction with the company following complaints about lack of spare parts are among the most pleasant among my contacts with any of Amazon's purveyors. The results were equally impressive: within 4 days the company rectified the deficiencies and informed me of the soon forthcoming line of spare parts, bottles and sprayers. and with these improvements to the original is a worthy acquisition: it works VERY well (but remember to dilute every paint, including Vallejo's Air series.) It is a double action brush with a built-in comprer whose pressure regulator is located at the bottom of the pistol-like grip. The package contains 3 and 5 mm spray nozzles covering the typical modelling range: the 8 mm nozzle for VERY large jobs can be obtained separately. The operation of the brush is intuitive, very easy, and the results are both consistent and very impressive. The brush is a magnificent nivicel earning tool, but it will satisfy the needs of the most discerning modellers as well. Simply put, yhe price notwithstanding, it is absolutely worth buying!

Help me. Did I get a bad unit? I have not tried to add paint because I can not even get water to spray. Even tried alcohol. Tried all the different nozzles. Followed the instructions. Top is open. Have it full power. Air is coming up the hole in the unit. The only way to get it to spray (water) is to unscrew the nozzle cap. The case was opened in the box (maybe from shipping). The unit was turned on when I received it. I wanted to reach out to the company directly but there is no way to do it. Amazon said write a review and they will respond. I just need to know if there is anything I can do before sending it back? I am scared to get a replacement exchange if I am going to have the same issue. Thank you

Best Airbrush for my style of painting, I like modeling and I change many colors but the old airbrush doesn’t get along with me because I hate waisting time cleaning it and making a mess, the seller was very kind on replacing it for me even though i bought it three months ago, I got the one with the disposable nozzles what a difference , if one gets clogged up I just throw it away replace it and keep working, I do recomendado it 100% , este airbrush es lo mejor que a salido asta ahora si te gusta pintar con uno, este es el mejor sin hacer un tiradero de pintura y sin perder el tiempo , si una de las puntas se tapa tan solo la tiras y pones una nueva, se los recomiendo!

I so loved this airbrush it was genius idea especially for doing fast paced makeup work for our haunted creatures . But it did not deliver it function about 10% of the whole haunted season. I take responsibility for %50 for not filtering pain t before hand . Alcohol based paints dry to fast for this . And the "no clean statement is false or worded wrong . I see now they give you an abundance of nozzles which probably helps the clogging .

Bought this for my Hobbyist daughter-n-law. No experience with air brush but this seems to work continuously while plugged into charger, no noted heat build up. Battery time runs as advertised. Swap-color modules is a great idea and should be standard. No idea how non-water based paints perform, but water based paint out of bottle is too thick, clogs within minutes of use but cleans easy with water. No thinning suggestions available anywhere. We experimented with 40-50% water and the product worked continuously but color brilliance suffered. On going effort. I love this product. Manufacturing quality is solid, nothing looks cheep and it feels good. I would recommend and am considering purchase for plastic model application. Will update later.

I'm not a hardcore plastic airplane builder BUT I like the look of an airbrushed product. For not investing in a full-on compressor and brush this gets the job done. Having extra bottles and doing things quick this is a good investment. I've used for a few months and it's reliable you just need to keep it clean and have spare bottles handy. The .5 and .3 nozzles work with maybe one or two issues with clogging. I meticulously clean up after so I'm ready for the next round. It's improved the quality of my paint work for sure. This would be the bridge to maybe a more sophisticated set up. I think it works pretty good.
