Black and White Watch Marvel - The Heaviest in My Collection!!
Color: Black/Silver
Finding this watch on Amazon for $450, down from the usual $500, was an absolute win, especially with prime shipping, all the way from Japan. I went for the black and white model, and its quality is nothing short of stunning. This piece stands out not just for its looks but also because it's the heaviest watch I've owned, which speaks volumes about its robust build and premium feel. Initially, I was intrigued by the boldness of this watch. The sophisticated black and white design has a way of drawing you in. Its weight, though more substantial than any other watch in my collection, adds to its allure without being overbearing. For anyone looking for a statement piece that combines style with a significant presence, this is undoubtedly the one to go for. It’s an investment that promises to turn heads and start conversations wherever you go. #StylishHeft #LuxuryTimepiece #UnforgettableImpression ... show more

Great Watch & Great Customer Service
I just received my 51-30 Chrono and although the box looked used, the watch looked new. As with any watch, it tells us the time. Simple and easy to understand but this watch is gorgeous with a very easy-to-read face, with the exception of the VERY SMALL date window. I'm not worried about that as a calendar is much easier to read anyway. Additionally, the customer service department worked with me tirelessly to fix a small issue with the stopwatch hand. When I received the watch, the stopwatch hand would reset but to the 58-second mark, not at 60. After working every option over the phone we finally found a fix and voila, the stopwatch hand now aligns perfectly. ... show more

Classy and looks amazing
Color: All Gunmetal
My husband loves bigger watches since he's a bigger guy. This one looks great on him. The watch looks expensive and has good weight to it. The face is attractive and we loved the black band color. His wrist is pretty big and we did not have to add links for the first time ever.

Beautiful watch

I'm not familiar with Nixon watches so I was hesitant to drop $500 on one of these but this watch is exactly what I was looking for. It's big, heavy, and makes a bold statement!

happy with it
I received the watch on time from Watch Expo. It was packaged just fine. Watch is definitely authentic and looks great. It's a large watch but doesnt look to big on me because i have decent sized wrists. If you have little baby wrists, this watch probably isnt for you. Id go with the smaller version. The price on this watch was great. Well below anywhere else i could find online. Happy with the purchase. Received an email from amazon a few days after the purchase stating I have a 2 year warranty through amazon/Asurion. I did not think I'd have any type of warranty buying from a random seller so this is a plus. I love amazon. LOL You'll receive a 2-year Amazon warranty, provided by Asurion, for the following item(s): Nixon A083-1762 Mens The 51-30 Chrono Silver Gunmetal Watch The 2-year warranty is on the internal mechanism, watch case, crystal, crown, stem, and buttons. functional... sorta?
Color: Black/Silver
I've been wanting to buy this watch for a while. I was reluctant about how thick and big the face was, but overall, it's not that so bad on me (I'm a big guy, big wrist, big arm, etc). Watch fit perfect on me right off the box, like it was made for me. Didn't need to adjust or anything. Initial: 1. Box was packed right in retail box, everything looked great. 2. Comes with an extra link. 3. Instruction is wrong: The bottom button starts the chrono, not the top Pro: 1. It's really well made watch. The machine work is good, and the clasp is done well. 2. Heavy watch, but for the size, it's relatively light compare to some other high end SS watches that's smaller in size. As far as how it feels on my wrist, so I guess that's a good thing? 3. Countdown bezel. This is pretty unique and very diver oriented, which I really liked. 4. Big face, big numbers, and very clear indications. Again, diver oriented watch. 5. I like the machined looked a lot better than the high polish. The high polish just looks comical and cheap. 6. Rear facing buttons. Once again, diver oriented (gloves). Plus, it's good for when you ride your motorcycle. It's comfortable this way. 7. Precise and heavy ticking on bezel. I'm split on this, but I think I like it. Again, if I was scuba diving with gloves on, this would be something that I would prefer. 8. 300 meter - Really good. 9. Looks - The design is very clean, functional, and it's made with a purpose, which I like the most. It's not really made big for the purpose of being made big, it's made to be used when diving. In that concept and execution, this is probably one of the best diving watches in the market. 10. Standard #2 spot adjust the date, which I think was done better on this watch than most watches out there. For some reason, I like how they did it. 11. It's not subtle, but it's got some subtle design elements with the light that I really like. The flat bezel face, little sparkles on the chrono bezel, and black chrono second hand. I think it's nice. 12. Solid design ques. Con: 1. Due to it's enormous size, it will look silly if you're a small figured guy. Even on big guy, the big numbers on the face is little overdone. 2. The machine on the SS could of been done a little slower. I compared this with my Tag and it looks like they rushed machining it, because if you slow machine, you shouldn't be able to see the machine marks, and it will be a lot more brighter. But for the price, it's good, I think. 3. The Chrono function buttons are screw down. This is another way they saved money on manufacturing the watch, because all the other watch I have that's 300 meter or deeper doesn't have a screw down chrono buttons/crowns. It's sort of a hassle to unscrew two screws, considering where they're placed. Also, it's not available when diving, which defeats the purpose of the countdown bezel (to see how much you have left before you have to go up. So, I guess it just comes down to fashion... 4. The edge treatment on the watch band and the watch itself could of been done better. It's little more sharper than I'd like or use to. But this is something simple I can do at home (for the price of the watch, etc.) 5. The top downward triangle doesn't line up to the "0". This drives me nuts. But I have this same problem with my other watches, except for the really high end ones. No big deal. 6. I wish they could of done some texture on the face. It just looks a bit cheap up close. 7. I wish the chrono part was a different color. 8. I wish the chrono hand was a different color. It's black, and it's beautifully done, but not really functional. 9. Glass itself isn't Sapphire. lol. But it's ok, because if it was it would of a lot more expensive. 10. No AR coating. But if you can't tell time with this watch, you don't need AR coating, you need an Optometrist. 11. No clasp extension (which they could of had). 12. Connecting rods for the watch bands are too small on the left side vs the right side. I suspect this is a QA issue. Conclusion: Good watch at a discount. Not worth the $500 retail. The Nixon 48 seem to be the perfect sized watch, so I will probably buy one later. I will review on this. ... show more

Nixon is a great company
Color: All Silver / Black
They are the best. This watch is a legit dive watch. Anywhere you will take your body, this watch can go with it. I didn't wear a watch for 2 decades because the band would break. This is a sturdy watch and band. It's heavy and big, which I didn't like until I wore it. This one was on sale which is the only way I can afford one, got it for under 200 bucks. If you get a chance to try one out, I recommend it. ... show more
