I’ve run a lot of mud-terrain tires over the years, but the Nitto Trail Grappler M/T stands out as one of the best all-around performers I’ve tried. These tires are built like tanks — thick sidewalls, aggressive tread, and a solid feel on and off the road. Off-Road Performance: In mud, loose dirt, and rocky terrain, these things bite hard. The tread clears out mud fast, and the grip is consistent even on slick trails. You can tell they’re designed for real off-road use, not just looks. On-Road Ride: For an M/T tire, I was shocked at how quiet they are. They hum a little at highway speeds (which is expected), but it’s nowhere near as loud as similar mud-terrains. They track straight, handle turns well, and feel stable even at higher speeds. Durability: After months of daily driving plus weekend off-roading, the wear has been minimal. No chunking, no cracks, no issues balancing. The sidewalls give a lot of confidence when you’re aired down on rough terrain. Looks: Honestly, these tires make any truck or SUV look tougher. The tread pattern is aggressive without being overdone. Bottom Line: If you want a tire that can handle mud, trails, rocky climbs, and still be comfortable enough for everyday highway driving, the Nitto Trail Grappler M/T is the perfect middle-ground between performance and comfort. I have ran these tires in the past, so I knew what to expect as far as long jevity. The last set I had lasted 3 years and roughly over 50,000 miles. Shipping was amazing! They actually showed up a week ahead of schedule. So I am very pleased with this buy!

This is the second set I have purchased for my trucks. Great traction, and low road noise compared to other M/T tires. FWIW I'm running the 275/70r18 on a stock height 2014 Tundra with TRD rims. No rubbing at all.

So far so good. That are a good looking tire. Not very loud at all. I’ve ran the fierce MT tire before and they were louder than these. Your gonna have some hum with any mud tire. I’ve only put about 200 miles on them so far so I can’t really talk about longevity yet. I would say if you are thinking about these for your truck go ahead and buy them. ... show more
