I recently purchased the Nitto Terra Grappler G2 Traction Radial Tire in the 265/70R17 115T size, and I must say I'm quite impressed. These tires have proven to be a great addition to my vehicle. Firstly, the traction on these tires is outstanding. Whether I'm driving on wet or dry roads, I always feel confident in the grip they provide. They handle well in various weather conditions, which is important for me as I often drive in changing climates. Additionally, the ride comfort is excellent. These tires offer a smooth and quiet driving experience. I appreciate how they absorb road imperfections and make long journeys much more comfortable. Durability is another strong point. After several months of use, I haven't noticed any significant wear or tear. These tires seem built to last. One thing to note is that while the Terra Grappler G2 tires are great for on-road performance, they are also capable of handling some light off-road adventures. They strike a good balance between highway and off-road capability. The only minor drawback is that they might not be the most fuel-efficient tires out there, but the trade-off in performance and comfort is worth it for me.     • Great puddle handler
I bought 5 (one is the spare, in case you are wondering) of these tires back in August 2018. The reason I picked them was for their overall reviews along with the fact that, they matched my idea of reasonably aggressive tires. I am not one that has the time to go off roading in my 2008 jeep wrangler, nor do I have the money to spend on upgrades. However, my previous tires were of a respected brand but were radials. When it came to heavy snow, they were very bad on traction. Also, the price of the radials, versus these Nittos, was about double and I only bought 4. These Nitto tires have been awesome for what I need. Basically, I drive on the highway a lot but winter in NJ can bring some decent snow. Have not had any major snow fall as of yet, but we did have a few hours of serious rain, mixed with icing, mixed with snow. The tires performed admirably well, gripping the road and not just spinning, although in some seriously icy conditions, the tires were true, so long as one did not forget what road condition they were driving on. In other words, as long as you drove slowly and with care, without any sudden starts or stops and without speeding. In the rain, I have not had any bad experience. The tires with appropriate braking handle the wetness without slipping and sliding. What impressed me most, was being on the highway, driving at about 60mph in the rain, when all of a sudden a torrent of water is flying up in the air, because you just went through a water puddle. My Jeep held its ground without any fish tail or any other sudden jerky motions that would be associated with a rapid slow down, due to one front tire encountering water resistance when it drove through a water puddle. As a "guesstimate", the puddle may have been about 5 feet in length with a 5" water depth. For those that may drive on I78, in the passing lane, you may have experienced these puddles. I did a fair amount of research before buying these tires and to date, they have lived up to me expectations. Price wise, safety wise, driving wise. Oh and before you ask, yes they do have tolerable road rumble. This I expected and wanted, so I have no qualms about that. ... show more

I have purchased the same tires Nitto Terra Grappler's and the newer G2's for all my trucks since early 2000's over 20 years. Amazing tires super quiet and durable. Worth the money buy them you would not be disappointed!!!!!!

I’m so stoked with these tires!! After researching to find a great on road / off road tires for my 4Runner I finally decided to go with these & I must say I’m so glad I did. Amazon was half the price of the local tire shops that would have to special order them & they came in in only 4 days! (Not bad for being in Hawaii) Because you could choose which design to put on the outside I decided to go with the lightning bolts instead of the other way 🤷🏻♀️ lol the ride feels great & i didn’t hear any noise when I was going 70 mph. I didn’t take em off roading yet but I’m sure they’ll do great. All and all this is a great all terrain tire for and even better price! ... show more

Our road department in their infinite wisdom decided to mill up two strips six feet wide on either side of the only access road to our property for about a half mile then walk away, with no plan to repair the damage for a year or two. Cars have been getting tires shredded and suspensions ruined but fortunately these tires handle the shredded asphalt just fine. Glad I put them on all three of my trucks - they should rename them Sabine Parish Specials! I've recommended these to all my neighbors. ... show more

First I ordered my tires on Monday...they arrived on Wednesday. Just put these on my 2011 Ram 1500 today and went for a 150 mile drive in the Tetons on a curvy mountain road. My truck handled like a champ. The traction is awesome and it rides nicely. The tread is deep on the tires so they should make 50,000 miles and the road noise is minimal at best.
