As an REO Rehab Contractor, I always come across moments when I need more Light and this flashlight is compact enough and powerful enough to always carry in a pocket. The 3.000 Flood light setting generates a lot of heat and drains the battery quickly, so I won't be using that feature often, but the lower light settings should provide enough light to get the job done for most of my needs. So bright for it's size. Controls at first seemed confusing but after about 20 minutes of playing with it they are very intuitive. Button placement with one more proud than the other makes it easy to operate without looking. Only thing that worries me is if I forget to lock it and put it in a bag. So much light comes out it will burn fabric in front of the light. The light itself does heat up but has thermal protections built in. ... show more

    • Bright Flashlight but not easy to use
I do like this flashlight as it last quite a while on a charge and has different settings so you can make it last longer. However, the button combination to turn on and off and use the various settings is pretty difficult. It requires a few half button pushes versus full button pushes and holding buttons for three seconds, etc. I find it difficult to use when I need it quickly. I've been an LED flashlight user and collecter for 20 years, pretty much since they first became technologically feasible. This is hands down the best flashlight I've ever seen. The size, the light output, and the features are unbeatable. The form factor is perfect, and the materials have a top quality feel. Size, shape, button layout, it's all perfect. The torch works incredibly well and as advertised aside from the strobe and turbo functions which are both faulty and don’t run until the auto shutoff kicks in.

    • Broke after one drop.
Use it for security work, just to look up and down hallways and alleys, got out of my truck with it in my lap and dropped it about 2 ft, and one of the bulbs just quit working.. doesn't have a very direct beam, just more spilled than anything. Good for everyday use unless you put it in your pocket where in you can accidentally double tap it unlock it and it will burn a hole through your pants like it did mine. By the way if you charge it you have to relock it or it will turn on in your pocket. ... show more
