I was visiting my sister in MA and noticed she did not have the cables for her computers. tablet or cell phones around her desk. She had gotten rid of the mess we all have with all the cables by using the Nite Ize Original Gear Ties. They are easy to use, easy to notice because of the neon colors used and last forever. I used rubber bands before. However, I found out the rubber bands dry out and break after a few weeks. I purchased all the different lengths and I could not be happier. These cable ties have saved my life. I'm obsessed with organization, and I use these around the home and my home office. I've tried everything and I have to admit the Velcro ones annoy the crap out of me. I eventually ended up using the black zip cable ties for a long time, but they would annoy my husband because he likes to move our electronic things and they always got in the way. So he'd cut them. I'd replace them. He'd cut them. I'd replace them. Vicious cycle, let me tell you. So when I stumbled on these ties, I was curious how well they would work. And they are incredible. Definitely worth the price. I'll update this review when I actually have one break or "go bad" on me--but I've been using them for about 6 months now, and zero problems no matter how much I reuse/refold them. PROS - I love how they are reusable. As I mentioned, we constantly take them off and put them back on--or move them to new cords and they still work like new. - I'm in the process of moving, and these helped immensely when I had to throw all my cords in a box. I tied them with the cable and then labeled them with a label. - These are great with storage: I have so many cables for home and my work that are often just stored until I need them. They keep my storage box full of cables neat and organized (I've attached cute labels to make sure I always remember what every cable is), and make it quick and convenient when I need to grab a cable and throw it in my backpack to go. - I've loved taking these on travel. Whether I use an electronic tote bag or a plastic baggie (depending on the length of my trip), these have been super convenient from keeping my cords turning into a jumbled mess. I can also pull them out and use the cable with the twist tie or keep the twist tie in the bag and use it when I return the cable. - Because they make these in different lengths - I prefer the black ones, because then they just blend into the cables themselves - they work great for keep TV cables and media cables together to hide behind a wall panel or behind coiled neatly behind the TV. CONS None so far

I use gear ties for all my electronic cords. I travel a lot and I like having things organized. However, I even use them at home. I tried purchasing cheaper knock offs and the results were curious. They didn't keep cords wrapped and they fell apart. As I mentioned, I travel a lot and I rely on these ties to keep my power cords in order. They last a long time, however, they still need to be replaced after 7-10 years of use. Like I said, the cheaper versions are not good and only last six months. Nite Ize are a little more expensive, but well worth it! Cheers

For some reason, I've taken it upon myself to have about 10 cables at any one time. One for the phone, the table, the laptop, the watch, the earphones and so on. However, now I have the problem where they seem to be self replicating and taking over the drawer where I store them. I was using the cheap twist ties you get when you buy electronics, but after awhile they break or fall apart. The velcro ones were even worse because they wear out after a few weeks of constant use. I decided to get these reusable twist ties to make my life easier. I specifically wanted a brand that had more than one colour in the pack so my partner and I wouldn't argue about which cord belonged to whom, he has his colour, I have mine and the third is for community household items. I use these ties every single day, which is less a testament to their practicality/convenience and more an indictment on devices having too short a battery life *cough* I'm talking to you Apple. Buy these: make the draw neater, organise your bag/backpack, spend less time untying cable knots!

I use these to secure or tie together all sorts of things, around the house, in and out of my vehicles, and when camping. They take the place of using zip ties in a lot of cases, and are practically perpetual. I favor the black ones (especially durable, as black resists UV deterioration), in both 6" and 12" lengths. I've been buying them since 2018 from Amazon, and probably will buy more, as I keep finding more uses for them.
