This is a beautiful futon! I chose the green color and it is a true green and so pretty! It adds such color to my study!! The futon mattress is queen size and it is comfortable and very, very soft. I am so happy with my purchase. It took us 1 hour and a half to put the futon together. You need two people to assemble it. Do the back FIRST. Then the bottom SECOND. Then the frame THIRD. You have to line everything up well. It’s a little heavy but quite manageable. I am using it as a couch for my study, which I also work in. It looks really elegant with the sides that provide a place to put a lap top as well as your phone, etc. I did but the futon cover separately but didn’t need it as I’m using a handmade bedspread that’s embroidered. It goes so beautifully with it. I was truly amazed at how nicely it was packaged. It arrived exactly when Amazon gave the estimate for which was about 2 weeks. I read ALL of the reviews before purchasing this. I paid over $600 for this futon in the queen size. It is worth the money. Thank you for making a great product ... show more

The first box came without the hardware but as soon as I reached out about it they responded fast and got me the hardware. Problem was solved fast and easily. Great futon. It’s comfortable. Installation isn’t as hard as it looks. They make it super easy to follow

Comes in 3 packages, bed shipped locally in 1 piece and frame shipped internationally in 2 pieces. Pro's 1. Looks exactly as it displayed. 2. Nice wood finishing. 3. All parts were there and packed well. 4. Feels good when you sit on it. 5. Looks elegant for the living room. 6. Sliding side arm rest 7. Easily converts from sofa to bed - you have to pull/push the bottom back and forth so that you can convert it to bed/sofa. Con's 1. Tricky and time consuming to assemble. 2. Instructions can be more detail and they may upload some videos on how to. 3. when you sit down, you have to lean back and there is kind of space between your back and the bed that's not comfortable I would say. Probably would let it settle for few days and see how it feels. 4. Its a 4 step process to put this together, step1 assemble the top portion that you lean against - this is some what easier to do. step2 assemble the base that's also kind of ok. step3 assemble the hand rest together and that is where the bottom and top portion gonna sit together. when you assemble this one - all you have to do is just screw them together with the connecting 2 wood beam - it has to be very loose so that you can slide the top portion into it in a angular way. if you even tighten the screw halfway - you won't be able to put that base and top. ... show more

Very satisfied with this purchase! It was very easy to assemble; instructions are clear and parts are adequately coded and identifiable. The mattress is thick and firm; and can be repositioned to ensure even wearing over time. The assembled piece is very sturdy. There is minor damage in one of the wheel channels that occurred during shipping, but it does affect the way the futon operates when switching from sofa to bed and back to sofa. Wow I am really pleased with this futon frame! I was worried about assembly but it was SO easy, the instructions were very well done and clear! I put the back and seat frames together one evening then did the arms and putting it all together the next night with my 13yo daughter to help me slide the frame into place. Honestly, cramming the mattress in there was the hardest part. I ordered a clingy “shelf” thing to hold the mattress in place. It’s all bunched up now under there somewhere so I’m not sure it’s needed! There was no damage to any piece...it was just very well thought out and constructed. Now the mattress? Whole other story. I thought the cover would be cotton twill. Wrong. It is polyester or some sort of synthetic. While it zips up, which gives you a sense of “oh I can wash it” you would be very wrong! Unzip and discover all the floof they have fluffed it with. There would be no way in a cold day in hell you would ever get the cover back on it much less off of it without destroying it! That being said, order another cover to cover the cover as if you have pets it will be destroyed in a matter of days with filth and you can’t wash it! And yes it has an odd smell as others have said...almost like hay! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Holy s*** I was wondering why this thing wasn’t right. Insane chemical smell so I opened it up to see what’s in it . It is full of garbage, WOOD CHIPS, bits of plastic etc. Someone definitely made some extra money at my expense by recycling some trash. I usually don’t care about this sort of thing but I paid over 800 dollars for this? It has a crazy smell, I hope I don’t have cancer now. I can’t believe I slept on this thing how embarrassing. I just hope I don’t have any health effects from the crazy chemical treatment they put on this thing. ... show more
