This is a great couch.The frame feels sturdy and the mattress is comfortable. It wasn't difficult to assemble, took about an hour to put together. Amazon ships the product in separate shipments but does not notify the customer of secondary shipments. I contacted the seller and they were very prompt in getting back to me and giving me the second tracking number. Very sturdy & quality design. A bit firm (for me) but really good and I will adjust. Reseller service was great, there were 3 pieces shipped separately and had super quick response on status of each when I was at first confused when only one part showed up. Directions are well done. Futon frame is very sturdy and attractive. We up graded the mattress to opt for more support and cushioning and after sleeping on it for an hour my hips were aching. The mattress that we upgraded to dose not fit well on the frame when it is closed. The mattress does not bend well so it sticks up on the back side and looks poor. wish I could of sent it back but we were expecting guest so kept it. No we do not close the futon because how poorly it looks when the mattress does not bend over the back. ... show more

Got the boxes (2 ea) with the frame. Directions were CLEAR and it was easy to assemble. Just match the colors and go! Only challenge was leaving the frame loose while installing the mattress cradle. Two people makes it MUCH easier. Unfortunately, we could not use it after assembly since the mattress was nowhere to be found. I've asked the seller to advise on mattress whereabouts and ETA. I haven't used it to sleep on so I can't review it in that way, but it's pretty sturdy and really comfortable with a few pillows. You really do have to leave the mattress flat for about 3 days for it to proof back up to normal thickness.
