Love this thing. Couple of things to consider though before buying. 1, it takes waaaaayyyy too many batteries and should be rechargeable instead. Literally, the car takes 6 batteries and the remote is at least 2. 2, indoors on smooth surfaces only. Took ours outside and the tires grab onto eh-ver-re-thing. This product is cheap and poorly made! I bought this as a birthday gift for my 4 yr old son. I gave a shot on it despite of the bad reviews it received from the other buyers. Giving it the benefit of the doubt as I always do with the other products I want to purchase here with negative reviews. When I received the product, It was already defective all it does is spinning the remote control is not working as it should be. I decided to return it and requested for a replacement. So after two days they sent me the replacement which " I thought would be better one". I put the batteries on them (kart & remote controller) and turn it on, so finally it was working good. My son got the chance to play on it only for a few minutes coz it was already late that night, everything was working perfectly. So I thought everything was fine. The next day batteries got drained coz I forgot to turn the button OFF from the Kart (my fault). I never get the chance to buy a new batteries for it until just today 3/23/21 when I went to the store ( I purchased this item 3/10 with prime membership) So to cut the story short I insert all the 6 batteries in the kart plus 2 batteries for the RC and turn it on , everything works aside from the right shifter of the RC I played the shifter of the RC for a few seconds hoping to fix the problem but the kart doesn't shift to the right side, considering my son hasn't played nor touching both the kart and remote for a few days it should be working perfectly. But nope RC got some issue Again! If you calculate the time my son spend playing on this toy it was only a few minutes from the time it was replaced. So frustrating! !! I gave up!!!!! I end up returning this super Mario kart and requested for a refund. The concept on this product is good but when it comes to quality ,durability and performance, the item failed on these aspects. ... show more
