Description

New illumination feature and sleek flip-screen design making it the most distinctively stylish, compact and portable Game Boy system ever Building on the significant improvements and refinements already introduced in the current Game Boy Advance, the new Game Boy Advance SP features a revolutionary Front Light Screen making game play easy in any lighting condition. The system is powered by a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery good for about 10 hours of game play and takes only three hours to recharge. Amazingly, the battery life increases to approximately 18 hours of continuous play when the Front Light Screen is turned off. All current and future Game Boy Advance games are compatible with the new system. And, similarly, Game Boy Advance SP is backward compatible, allowing use with virtually all games and accessories previously released in the Game Boy line.

  • Excellent shape
Color: Blue
Received a bit late but understandable due to the issues USPS is having at the time of writing. Arrived in perfect condition. Package was extremely well packed. Everything works. Casing is flawless. Well worth the 150 bucks, especially when they are going for approximately triple that value for an og cobalt at other sellers in this condition. ... show more

  • New Sticker is the only 'Repair/refurbish". Misleading
Color: Flame
The AGS-001 that arrived was not only defective, but also NO where close to what somone could call 'refurbished'.. This was obviously not tested either as no damage to shipping packaging. While this model's brightness is the lowest of the lot, this device was flickering and extremely bad and screen is unusable, significantly worse than even the original ags-001. R-trigger was frozen out of the box, battery was original 20yrs old and swollwn (trash). Would be nice if they actually cleaned the boards and replaced batteries when charging the same price here as an ags-101 which is superior. Dust hanging out power button port. Will give them one more shot to get it right ... show more

  • These guys are legit
Color: Blue
The media could not be loaded. I wanted to be apart of the 1% Club also they deserve a review I recently bought a red Gameboy advanced at my local game shop for 80 bucks but it definitely wasn't renewed it works but the system looks rough a lot of bucks on system and scratches on screen but it came with 30 day warranty and works just fine but if you quality and a legit renewed these guys are the way to go for sure I was really impressed at first I was kinda iffy about the price until I received my item today and it’s basically a brand new gameboy advanced sp I was really impressed screen was flawless everywhere else had no nics only one tiny scratch you can barley see on top thay was it compared to my other one it looks and works better by leaps and bounds so if you basically want a brand new gameboy advanced without spend too much go to these guys ... show more

  • Everything seems to be working
Color: Blue
Package came a day earlier then expected. Was dead on arrival, which is to be expected. So far everything seems to be working just fine. Screen is as clear as I remember from my childhood. Sound is good. A few scratches but thats again go be expected, nothing too concerning. Does come with a charger, which was a bit hard to plug in but I had no issue with it. This is a birthday gift for my bf, will update once he has used it. ... show more

  • It works, but it's not as "renewed" as advertised.
Color: Flame
The Game Boy came early, but the power in it is really unusual. Sometimes, the system will turn on just fine. Other times, it won't turn on at all. Additionally, the battery seems not to have been replaced, as it doesn't hold a charge all that well. The light constantly flickers between green and red when it's played (to the point that even touching the power switch while it's on will cause the light to change color) and sometimes will start off red despite being left on a charger without being played (at which point it "fully" charges after 15 minutes, only for the power issue to persist). As I write this review, I have ordered a replacement battery to see if that will fix the issue, which I'm guessing is a depleted or dying battery. ... show more

  • AGS 001 Model is 1st Gen, AGS101 is brighter screen
Color: Blue
I am beyond impressed with my purchase. It’s exactly what I wanted, but upon doing more research, if you are buying this, don’t worry about the color so much as the Model #. I wish I had done a little more research and had gone with the AGS101 because that brighter screen DOES MATTER. I am happy with my purchase however because 1st generation consoles are often becoming more rare as they age. Amazon made a GRAND effort to clean it up, some scratches will never be able to be wiped away and that’s okay, I understand. The biggest issue, which I wouldn’t even say it’s an issue, is the label on the back definitely shows age, and can look sort of filthy. But it’s all good and it WORKS PERFECT. ... show more
