I was in the market for an immersion blender when my ancient hand blender died. This works great for both. Cleaning has been easy. I was already a fan of Ninja products and this doesn’t disappoint. I keep all the pieces together in a plastic shoe box. I use it multiple times a week. I have high hopes it will last a long time. The hand blenders top speed is slower than my last one which I thought might be a problem but it blends everything perfectly. I absolutely love this product. It was a replacement for an old immersion blender that I had. But I find myself using the hand mixer part about as equally. It's powerful, easy to use, and I use every piece that has come with this unit. The only problem I have with this is that the whisk attachment lost one of the wires after only maybe 10 uses of that piece. One end popped out, and I could not re-insert it so I had to pull that one wire completely out of the whisk. The whisk still works, but I would have expected better quality. ... show more

Works great even for someone with both rotator cuffs torn and tendonitis in my right hand. I set it on a canister (7" high) so that I would not have to hold it the entire time (see photo).
