We needed a cooler for camping and traveling to our vacation home. We really like this Ninja FrostVault 454QT Cooler because it works so well. With the keep-dry sandwich drawer there is a small pocket at the bottom which we fill with ice packs. This allows the rest of the items to stay level and allows for a more evenly packed cooler. The dry drawer was also a brilliant idea, no more soggy sandwiches or rifling through the contents to find something that's needed in the short term. Although these coolers cost a little more than the other brands, we've always been pleased with the value that Ninja products gives us. It's a brand that we have trusted and we have purchased many other Ninja products, so I knew we would really enjoy having this cooler with us on our adventures.     • Dry Drawer is IT!

Ive wanted a higher end cooler that keeps things cold for longer than a day and Ive spent way too much time researching various brands. This hit the mark not only on features but price too. What sold me on it was the dry drawer and online reviews demonstrating its features. I filled it with ice on a Friday. By Sunday the ice was almost mostly melted but the dry drawer and inside of cooler were still at optimal temp as when full of ice. We were going in and out of the main cooler to get drinks out which i believe led it to melt faster. The dry drawer is literally alwaya dry and all my items stayed cool as if in the fridge. I had frozen hamburgers in there that stayed frozen for 3 plus hrs before I put them in a freezer. The dry drawer is what other brands are honestly missing from their products. I also love that its taller and narrower-i takes up less room in the back of the car. It does get a bit heavy but the handle is super sturdy and easy to use. Also, the drain is in a great spot and super easy to empty. The wheels are strong and rolls confidently. I would highly recommend this Ninja cooler. ... show more

This is truly a five star cooler - I watch a ton of videos on it and it even has yeti beat in terms of how long ice lasts and the dry drawer is genius. It is very well made. I am so disappointed to be returning it. It was just too large. The 30 is as big or bigger than my yeti roadie 48. It is also quite heavy and the purpose of the purchase was to find a good cooler for day trips mostly. This is just too big. The cavity isn’t, but the insulation and thickness of the walls - which make this a top notch cooler, also make it large and heavy. It is truly a 5 star cooler. I bought the 65qt while on sale. I went back and forth on buying it because I just couldn't justify paying that much for a cooler. Do yourself a favor and get it. Quality is great and the color is nice. My main reason for purchasing it was because of camping excursions out west in various places. What drew me to this was the added drawer underneath. It certainly keeps food cold. Plus it has a lock so it does not pop open. I did not worry about cheese, lunch meat, bratwurst, bacon, various veggies, and turkey burgers spoiling and getting soggy. Tons of room for several different kind of drinks and whatever else you may want to take to keep cold. It can become extremely heavy when taking out of the car once the ice is actually melted. Have someone help you take it out so not to hurt yourself. Make sure when emptying that you are in an area you do not mind being drenched ground wise. The drain plug does very well of emptying out the water. I am thinking of purchasing another as a Christmas gift for my sister as she likes to travel often. ... show more

This cooler is the best one I have ever purchased so far. Is it a bit expensive, yes but worth every penny. It keeps ice well and has a drain plug which I love. The drawer is next level. I used this over the summer when I went to do some landscaping and I could put an extra small bag of ice in the drawer to have available to put in my water bottle. It would melt some but even after an 8 hour day the bag was still mostly ice. I also bought the divider for the inside which is nice because I was able to separate alcoholic from non-alcoholic drinks. ... show more

Very easy to organize. The drawer is cold and dry, good for storing your phone and chapstick on a hot day and no longer chasing my floating food in a pool of ice water. The 1 latch make access convenient. I also ordered the basket which I love, keeping smaller drinks (flasks) from roaming. Under the basket is the perfect amount of space for coke can size items. For the size I am still able to manage loading and unloading myself after filling it. The only thing I don't like is that it takes up a lot of space in the back of my little Subaru. Awesome, awesome, awesome cooler! I have several Yeti’s in the same 45 series and the Ninja is in my opinion better and at less cost when it comes to features and usability. The handle and wheels are great on the Ninja, the frost drawer is a great future that we use for sandwiches and snacks and not having to worry about water soaking the bread. Ice retention is great, on par with the other more expensive brands. Ninja makes great products and the ninja 45 frost vault with wheels is one of those great products.     • Keeping foods separate in one cooler

GAME CHANGER!!!!!! I always never felt good about keeping food cooked or uncooked with my drinks because of contamination and with this cooler it has eased my mind. I was doubtful at first as I am a refrigeration mechanic but the drawers keep my fresh foods cold. I love that I can have one side for uncooked meats and another deli meats and other fresh foods. My food and drinks kept cold for my 4 day trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National parks Addendum Day 5 found that my drinks were still really cold as I was too lazy to empty it out after my trip. Ice is mostly gone but still working great. Great for 4-5 day trips but any longer than that you will need to get some more ice. Love this cooler so much I want to buy one of the smaller ones for shorter trips where I don’t need so much ... show more
