Ive wanted a higher end cooler that keeps things cold for longer than a day and Ive spent way too much time researching various brands. This hit the mark not only on features but price too. What sold me on it was the dry drawer and online reviews demonstrating its features. I filled it with ice on a Friday. By Sunday the ice was almost mostly melted but the dry drawer and inside of cooler were still at optimal temp as when full of ice. We were going in and out of the main cooler to get drinks out which i believe led it to melt faster. The dry drawer is literally alwaya dry and all my items stayed cool as if in the fridge. I had frozen hamburgers in there that stayed frozen for 3 plus hrs before I put them in a freezer. The dry drawer is what other brands are honestly missing from their products. I also love that its taller and narrower-i takes up less room in the back of the car. It does get a bit heavy but the handle is super sturdy and easy to use. We needed a cooler for camping and traveling to our vacation home. We really like this Ninja FrostVault 454QT Cooler because it works so well. With the keep-dry sandwich drawer there is a small pocket at the bottom which we fill with ice packs. This allows the rest of the items to stay level and allows for a more evenly packed cooler. The dry drawer was also a brilliant idea, no more soggy sandwiches or rifling through the contents to find something that's needed in the short term. Although these coolers cost a little more than the other brands, we've always been pleased with the value that Ninja products gives us. It's a brand that we have trusted and we have purchased many other Ninja products, so I knew we would really enjoy having this cooler with us on our adventures. The media could not be loaded. I’m obsessed! Ohio softball coach who has now used this 5 weekends in a row. My longest usage was Wednesday noon to Sunday evening. It’s hot here with temps 90+. Some days it has stayed in the back of my pick up for long days where the temp is even hotter! I got the largest size and I stock the top with waters, hints, Gatorades, etc. The main reason I bought this cooler was for the drawer. My daughter catches and needs sandwiches, fruit, yogurts, cheese and other goodies on demand all day long. This drawer lets me stock lots of that. My sandwiches are stacked cutely and they stay dry and cool. I’ll leave the sandwiches in the drawer all weekend. It feels like a fridge when I open it. I do prep the cooler the night before. I don’t typically fill with ice, just frozen drinks that double as the cooling element. There is a drain at the bottom if you want to empty any water that accumulates. I’ll mention, it’s heavvvyyyy! I’m 5’2” and cannot get in or out of the truck alone. My daughter who is 13 can usually help out. The wheels are super helpful bc this is too big for my wagons. We just tag team dragging it. Two cup holders up top and two 14u players can sit on it at once. People have been stopping me left and right to see this cooler! They all love the drawer feature. hands down the best cooler on the market. bought it on super sale, so it was a good value, love the separate drawer. great sturdy handle and big wheels make a breeze to move around. highly recommend. its VERY heavy so definitely get the model with the handle and wheels.

    • Keeps Everything Cold for Days

Fantastic product. We first used this cooler on a road trip of 1200 miles one way. Loaded the cooler with drinks, food, prepared sandwiches and meds that required cooling. We used ice packs, frozen water in large bottles, and roped it off with ice. When we arrived at our destination approximately 33 hours later. Everything stayed nice and cold, we still had plenty of ice in the cooler. The return trip was made with food and drinks, only this time we only used ice to top it off. After the trip was completed we had plenty of ice in the cooler. The cooler has a drawer that is something I have never seen in a cooler in the past. I kept my meds in the drawer along with other items. Heavy duty wheels are a part of the cooler as well as additional insulation. The additional insulation keeps food and drinks cold much longer than imagined. The cooler has a handle on each side that aides in lifting the cooler. It also has an additional handle that is used to pull the cooler. The lid when closed locks in place, securing your food and beverages. The additional insulation adds to the weight of the cooler. For this reason alone I deducted one star. If I could I would only deduct 1/4 star. Outstanding product I highly recommend. ... show more

    • Dry ice last for 5days🩷

So I purchased this for my simi tractor trailer. I needed to be able to put more food and drinks in the truck. So with dry ice it last almost 5 days it stayed cold for 2 to 3 days after ice melted probably 3. What I noticed is depending on the ice you put in the cooler how long your ice will last if it’s not dry ice it melts faster but the cooler will stay cold for 2 to 3 days also. The drawer is great it keeps things cold and dry. The cooler it self is heavy but it’s definitely worth the money. And it does what it says I’m not crazy the handle just because it sit on the side and it takes up more room in my simi truck. ... show more

Is great at keeping things cold or warm, I put a Brisket that I had smoked in it, that needed to be pulled six hours early, when I retrieved from the cooler later was still piping hot. Kept ice and beverages cold for three days and two nights camping , sturdy and easy to wheel around.
