I bought this Ninja to replace my VitaMix, which I no longer really needed. I did not expect the Ninja's quality to equate with the VitaMix - I just wanted something reliable that was lighter and easier to clean. And that is exactly what I got! The Ninja's plastic is blessedly lightweight, and cleans easily. The blades are a separate piece, and also clean quickly. So the whole business of creating blended vegetable and fruit drinks takes me a fraction of the time and effort I had to spend pre-Ninja. I usually use the smaller quart containers, but also find the large container easy to use and to handle. So how well does it cut/blend? Well, good enough for me, though when I include kale there are definitely kale pieces in the drink, and generally after using the "smoothie" setting, I additionally run it through the "high" setting to optimize texture. But really, it is a perfectly good appliance, and easy on my time and on my old lady hands. I do recommend it, and yes, I would buy it again. The media could not be loaded. There are so much room in the blender. The two little cups are great for little smoothies just for yourself and you don’t have to dirt as much. It is not too loud perfect size blenders or something you can’t cheap out on and this is a very good one for not too expensive, this is a 10 out of 10 I was spectacle at first but then it wasn’t as bad as I thought would get this if I were you great product very easy to clean too good power on it too ... show more

Finally replacing my 1980's blender! SO glad I did. This bad-ass blender is a crusher. It makes little work of ice, which we all know is tough to do. As soon as I opened it I started blending. Made several 'milkshakes', which in my home are lactose free milk, chocolate powder, sugar, vanilla and ice. Not even a problem with this blender. Then I made humus, which is the true test for me. Nothing worse than having to scrape the sides down into the blades due to the thickness of the humus. Not even a problem with this blender! The triple blades do ALL the work. No chunks left, no scraping and omg, the texture turned out awesome. Used the small container last night to make a red pepper sauce and it worked great. Smooth and easy. Do be careful with the large blender body as it's not a very think plastic and could easily chip or crack. Also those blades are SHARP! Cut my finger washing it, carelessly. ... show more

This is my first Ninja blender and I am very pleased. It blends great smoothies in the smaller cups and terrific margaritas in the big pitcher. The 3 Auto-IQ programs work perfectly for everything I have tried so far. The only thing I don't like about this blender is the suction cups as the two front feet of the base unit. They are really strong suction cups so you can't just casually lift up the base to move the blender a bit nor can you easily slide the blender under the cupboard and slide it out again when you want to use it. It's a real nuisance and not all that easy to have to tilt the base of the blender in one direction or other to release those strong suction cups before you can move the blender. I would have preferred the plain old sticky rubber feet on all four corners that have always been strong enough to hold my blenders in place while mixing, but other than that the functions of this Ninja blender are very nice. ... show more
