The main reason I bought this particular laptop was due to the large SSD size, large ram size, strong CPU, as well as the sale at the time which I got it at about $300 off—so it was a great deal for the features I was getting. I’ve never heard of NIMO before, but from what I’ve seen from their website, they’re a relatively new and small company from DE that makes computers. Impression The laptop is very fast and responsive. It's very quiet, however, the fan does crank up and get louder when doing something strenuous, like playing games, downloading software, or updating. The laptop also runs for about 3 hours when on constant use. I usually keep it plugged in with the charger while playing games since it wouldn’t even last an hour before reaching low power. Speakers are at the bottom left and right hand sides and it's nice and loud. Vents are at the bottom and also at the back, which sends heat towards the bottom of the screen and makes it hot. This is noticeable when playing games or whenever the laptop is running hot. Gaming This laptop uses AMD Radeon 680M, which uses integrated graphics. Despite that, it still runs games well. I’m able to run certain games on Ultra settings and have some decent FPS. On higher graphics, the GPU reaches up to 70 degrees Celsius (according to AMD Adrenaline). WiFi Driver Issue + Fix When playing online games, the internet connection becomes unstable which causes the ping to go really high. This issue only occurs if your internet modem is in a different room. If you're playing in the same room with your modem, then you probably shouldn't run into any issues. For me, when playing Marvel Rivals, it went up to 700 ping and made the game unplayable as everything was lagging out of control. It wasn't my internet connection as another computer in the same room was able to play the game smoothly. After some googling, I found that this is a common issue from the built-in WiFi driver— RX616. Not sure if NIMO's other products uses the same WiFi driver, but this is an easy fix. My screenshot shows what you can do to quickly fix it. You can do either the following: -Disable Roaming by: Right-click Start > Device Manager > Network Adapters > right-click RZ616 WiFi > Properties > Advanced > Roaming Aggressiveness > 1. Disabled -Refresh WiFi driver by: On RZ161 WiFi, right click and click on disable device/enable in the Device Manager -Google an update to the driver -Buy a WiFi USB dongle Conclusion Overall, this is a really great laptop. The Ryzen 9 CPU with 32GB of ram seems overkill for regular use, but that does help with making the laptop work faster. It starts up fast, loads web pages fast, and starts games fast. The only issue is the WiFi driver would need to be fixed if you plan on playing online games with it. *Pros:* -Works very fast -Thin -Large screen -Great screen quality -Runs games very well *Cons:* -Can run hot during more demanding processes (aka, playing games, downloading software/updates), but that might just be the norm for AMD/laptops in general -Heat from the back vent can heat up the bottom part of the screen -The WiFi driver is terrible, but is mostly noticeable when playing online games. However there are several fixes as mentioned above -No Ethernet port

There are so many things I have seen about this notebook that surprised me and in a good way. If you need to get into it to change NVMe drive or memory, it is easy to open and access. The layout is clean and it appears that many of the inside components can be removed and replaced with a screwdriver which means it is repairable. This notebook appears to be well thought through with the customer in mind. It works great with Linux Mint. It is fast and well equipped for the price. It has a webcam which I couldn't determine from the website. The only negative I found was only one NVMe drive slot. I would like to have had two, but I can use an external or USB drive. I have never been a big fan of notebooks over the years, but this one is a game changer.

This PC is really nice. The big screen dazzles with a great display. This laptop fires up almost instantaneously. I am dual booting Windows 11 and Linux on this thing. Windows 11 boots up in about 3-4 seconds and Linux boots up in 4-5 seconds. Each OS basically is loaded once passwords are input. The only complaint I have so far is there is no light indicating if numlock is on or off. Other than that, really nice laptop. Purchase with confidence.

Terrible laptop. Problematic wifi driver and no support from seller to update. Of all the issues a laptop can have, wifi driver is the last thing you should have to worry about. My 10 yo laptop destroys this thing in download speed. Shipped wrong color machine also. Ordered silver got blue. Touchpad is very glitchy. Nimo not a good company to do business with. Stay away. Very cheap build compared to my old MSI.

Nice little laptop, but the new trend with laptops is the missing Ethernet port, it can be done by purchasing an Ethernet to USB C dongle Other than that, fast booting, quick 1st Windows install, no useless bloatware. Recommend.

Wow! What a great laptop! I love the larger size and how light weight it is for a bigger laptop. I ordered a black one. Looks the same as what is advertised. I was seriously skeptical when I saw the laptop and the price. I read some great reviews, but still didn’t know much about this brand and there wasn’t many reviews. Well I’m a techie that has purchased lots of laptops and usually my go to is MSI. Well the prices have skyrocketed and for the fastest ones now that I purchase for programming and gaming are insane. So I took a chance on the Nimo brand instead this time. Same inner components for half the price. I waited to post this review for weeks so I could test this laptop and play around with it. I’ve installed programming programs, SQL server, and stream games on Steam. So far I’m impressed and glad I purchased it! If you are looking for something that won’t break the bank and works like a charm than this is definitely a go to. Why pay more for less? I did my research. Seems like a legit small family owned US business that is doing the right thing and not bilking people for just the name brand. It may not be the most stylish colorful lit up laptop but it definitely has power and will surprise you. I think they build custom ones. May reach out to order one of their faster ones in pink if the have it. I’ll keep updating my post the longer I use it.

So far so good, I hate the mouse pad, just because, I always like an actual mouse, but obviously I will be buying a mouse, but functionality is just as expected, for the price, it is blazing fast, fingerprint is nice, response is instant.
