  • Dual Operation: This momentary electrical system switch is used for jogging or inching operations. A DPDT switch is equivalent to two SPDT switches. It routes two separate circuits. Connecting each of two inputs to one of two outputs. The position of the switch determines the number of ways in which two contact can be routed. Always make sure you are using a switch and wire sufficient to handle the load you are carrying. In higher draw applications, a relay may be needed.

NOTE: I plugged the connectors in different than the directions say (pictured), so the backlight on the switch only comes on when I turn the light bar/pods on. I used it to replace another switch which was very unreliable (would only turn on the light bar every 3rd or so flick, so I had to turn it off and on several times when I wanted the lights on). Not the best quality, but OK. Will have to see how long this switch lasts after repeated use. Other more expensive switches I have purchased in past years have positive "snap" when turning on / off. These seem a little weak. Again, time will tell.
