Replaced the original headlight assembly on my 04 Canyon and I can not believe the difference it made, not only with night time visibility, but the overall aesthetic look to my now 18 year old truck! My headlamps had gotten so bad that I often had to check to see if they were even working. So first, I decided to upgrade my old halogen bulbs for a modern set of LED bulbs and that helped a lot but, it wasn't the improvement I was hoping to achieve. Then I came across Nilights head light assembly and I couldn't be happier! My lights are bright, clean and clear! Plus, the crystal clear lens with black housing gave my old truck a fresh new look. Installation was pretty straight forward. You have to remove the grill to uninstall the old housing and replace with the new housing, so take care when removing the grill as it is easy to break the placement clips. If you are like me and have never done this type of installation YouTube is a great resource. I had no trouble installing the Nilight housing as the it fit just like the original. ... show more

UPDATE JULY, 2023: After eight months, the turn signal housings have developed a severe water intrusion issue. I contacted Nilight through their website with no response after three weeks. I have now contacted them at their email and am waiting on a response. The passenger housing can be seen accumulating water, and the driver side is beginning as well, so much to the point that evaporation does not take care of it. The review will be updated when and if there is warranty action taken. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I installed these to replace the faded and dull factory lights on my 04 Canyon. The compliment the maroon color very well, and black housing matches the factory ones. Installation is fairly straightforward, with the biggest challenge being removing the grille without breaking any of the clips. Then it's just a matter of unbolting and replacing the housings, either reusing your bulbs or as I did, choose to replace the bulbs now while everything is apart. These housings use all the same bulbs you already have. Keep in mind, these are still reflector housings, so using LED bulbs in not only NOT advised, but not legal for road use, as a reflector housing scatters the LED light beam rather than focusing it like a projector housing. The adjustment to aim the lights is appreciated. The are exactly the same as OE, so once installed it is easy to properly aim them. After 1000 miles so far, the aim has held true. My only gripe, and the reason for the 4 star review is that on the headlights themselves, the fit is not perfect when it comes to lining up bolt holes and tabs, but it is workable. Again, after about the 1000 miles I've driven since installing these, there have been no problems. This is where the 2 year warranty may come in handy. Overall, if you want a good quality, DOT legal replacement housings, I strongly recommend these. The reason I say this, is that I have used other products by Nilight, and have had very good luck with everything I've purchased from them, and have never had to make a warranty claim or contact customer service at all. ... show more
