So far she pulls. Easy install, looks good, remotes work extremely well. There's a bolt that holds the beginning of the rope to the spool, it's silver, rounded phillips head, don't known what grade, but making a pull with >8 wraps on the spool it sheered this bolt. I was able to pull it out, put in a grade 8 bolt and am back in action. Buy this winch by all means. I'm loving mine. But do spend the 4 dollars and replace that bolt before you install so you won't have to pull it back out later like I did. 5 stars still, easy enough fix.

I’ve purchased numerous Nilight branded products. I find them to be reasonably priced and of decent, supervised quality. This winch is no exception. I created a custom winch plate and have not put it through extensive testing, but it has performed well, is not too noisy, and the current draw is appropriate for a powerful pull! I am impressed with the quality - again! From driving lights to hitches and winches, I recommend Nilight!
