Check cameras carefully. The camera was a gray market Nikon from Europe, as disclosed by the box and the importer sticker on the camera. There was no official Nikon certificate or registration card. Also no user manual. In the USA, Nikon will not work on or guarantee any warranties for gray market cameras. Amazon should have disclosed this fact before selling it as an American imported Nikon. Look at cameras carefully. No idea if the camera worked. Was about to leave on a trip, but received this camera so had to go without a camera. Probably would have captured something worthy of a Pulitzer Prize, but now have to settle for just my refund money. The inhumanity. ... show more
