The Z5II is a very capable digital full frame camera. It is very complex to set up with many in camera menus. The Nikon registration process is very frustrating with an inability to log into the Nikon website and no help resetting the password. I took a chance and bought this instead of the Z7ii. I’m very glad I did. It’s a perfect match with Nikkor S series Z mount lenses. Low light performance is amazing. I don’t miss the higher megapixels at all.

    • Before you buy, get the battery charge block or separate charger!

Battery cable USB-C to USB-C came with camera and no block to charge in-camera or off camera. Currently can’t use it. It is charging with my computer which it claims it can do in the minimal instructions that come with the camera. Will update my review after I charge. Update: used a new block charger as described and it works as advertised. It s charge isn’t as long as the Nikon battery but is a good choice if you’re using a combination of these and your original battery. Worth the price…so far! ... show more
