This is a nice, comprehensive kit for those folks jumping into a very nice DSLR for the first time. Also Al's Variety got the camera to me in time for Thanksgiving, which I was not expecting! I got the shipping notification hours after I ordered. Fantastic! The only negative, as others have said, is that the included tripod is very cheap and I would never put a $1200 camera on it! It would still be a great deal even if the tripod was left out. However, the rest of the kit is an assembly of nice items that will keep me playing with different photography capabilities for a very long time. Thank you very much Al!

Bought it as a gift. She had an older Nikon, and could do just about anything she wanted to with it, except take a decent picture of the moon. She got it with this setup. The tripod that came with it was a little wonky, you’ll end up replacing it quickly, and the camera bag isn’t going to hold half of what comes in this kit. You can’t beat the price though for everything that comes together here. The camera was great, the lens were off good enough quality for her. She’s happy, I’m happy. Definitely glad I bought the larger set.

This camera is better than my d3200 so I'm happy to finally upgrade. I did unfortunately see that the adapter to the super lens wasn't in the box. Everything else that was included was there except that adaptor. I got this bundle specifically for the lens included. The super lens was the first lens I tried to put on and had no adapter with it. That was a little fustrating. But the whole package is great otherwise.

This camera and associated lenses and accessories are fantastic! However, the tripod included in this kit is too lightweight for the weight of the longest lens in the pack. That lens is what the tripod is included for, but it needs to bulk up and eat its' Wheaties to perform the intended job.

I do not recommend purchasing this camera from this seller. Upon receiving the package I noticed some discrepancies. The macro and micro lens were not as pictured. The outside of the Nikon box did not contain the US barcode or item serial number. Inside, the user manual had been wrinkled like someone had used it. The serial number sticker on the bottom of the camera was slightly out of place. After investigation I found photos from Nikon showing the serial number. The font looked completely different. The warranty card enclosed was not a Nikon warranty, and the website to register the product was not a Nikon website. Nikon will not warranty or repair gray-market items, even if you offer to pay for it. Nikon does not authorize gray market items to be sold in the US. They have an entire page on their website dedicated to this if you are interested in learning more. I initiated a return and shipped this item back. I then ordered the exact same product from an authorized Nikon retailer. When I received it I compared the new product with the photos I had taken from my Amazon purchase. The font on the serial number sticker on the authorized product was completely different than the font on this sellers camera, it also came with a certificate of authenticity and a Nikon warranty. I would be very cautious purchasing this from a non-authorized Nikon reseller.

I am a bird watcher. My husband bought this for me to take pics of them! Absolutely love it. The picture quality is wonderful and the zoom on the bigger lens goes really far, still keeping good picture quality!

Great package. Probably would be cheaper if you spent the time a sourced what you wanted first. Included tripod is crap. Bag included won’t hold anything other than your lunch. Everything else is good.
