These look real. I suggest using these as a temporary deterant. Unfortunately someone that I know tried to come into my place, my door was locked and they were turning the door knob but they didn't know I was in my apartment. So I put this up near my door and the person has not returned so far. The person who did this was present during a conversation I had with a coworker that my landlord installed cameras because I was home and someone tried to get in. She walked away very fast. So yes these work but eventually I suggest you get a real camera install it , if you can't afford the monthly service then don't activate it. I just was short on cash so I purchased these dummys but will buy a real one later. They work. ... show more

The product is very simple, you insert the battery and the red light starts blinking right away! Keep in mind, this is a dummy camera , don't expect it do anything like detect motion and starts blinking. The blinking doesn't stop until the battery is pulled. So far, it's has been about week or so and I have yet to see the red blinking light stop . The purpose for this dummy camera is to deter any unwanted individuals thinking something else they shouldn't be doing ... show more

The package clearly states that it is a dummy camera lol i didn’t like that, it should be more discreet packaging. They don’t have an on/off button so they run 24/7, will have to change batteries frequently.
