These cameras are well made and durable. I bought these to put outside of my stepdad's home to deter a bully. I love that there is a red light that comes on at night so it actually looks like a real camera. I think these would be an excellent deterrent for anyone looking to beef up security around their house. They are definitely worth every penny, as far as I am concerned. These fake security cameras may not scare off every intruder, but at this price, they're worth a try. Installation was super easy. Comes complete with all mounting hardware and can be mounted in wood, composite, or metal siding, or on a wooden fence. The light isn't too bright, but in a dark area will be noticeable. I've only had mine for a few months and the durability is surprisingly good. I can't speak for their effectiveness, but if it scares off one trespasser or potential burglar, they're worth the price and installation. ... show more
