    • Great Supplement for Camera Gift
We gave our son a D5600 for Christmas. He has shown an interest in photography, this is a very good camera, but needs good documentation to learn how to use all of its awesome features. This is a great book to help explain the basics of the camera.

    • Very Handy When Learning a New Camera
A nice little guide to the most used features of the camera. As I get used to the D5600, I expect to value of the guide to diminish, since I'll need it less and less. That being said, it's totally been worth the low purchase price (~$13) as I learn the features. Instead of trying to figure things out on my own, or going to the pdf manual on the Nikon website, I have a quick reference that I can keep in the same case as the camera. ... show more

I rate this as one of my Top-10 Purchases from Amazon. This thing is great. The camera's "owner's manual" is absolutely worthless. I think it assumes one actually knows what they're doing and knows what the hundreds of features are on this camera. Well, I don't. I understand the general concepts of aperture, shutter speed, white balance, etc., but this little flip-chart thingy CONCISELY explains the features, what buttons to push, and what will happen will you press said buttons. I learned as much from this thing as I did my online Great Courses beginning photography course. Frankly, they should sell this thing for a higher price...it would still be worth it! ... show more
