Perfect scope for hunting as all of the turrets are capped and cannot move when you are dragging your gun through the woods. Love it as it is still the best scope ever. I was really impressed with the glass from Day 1. I’ll never buy a non-illuminated reticle scope again. The illumination is easy to see even in the brightest day light. With the objective lens being so big I would highly suggest buying your base and rings from Nightforce as well. They are expensive but definitely worth it. Sighting it in was a breeze, and log distance shots make you really understand why glass quality is so important. Two months after I bought it I I spent a week in the mountains of WY and took a 6x5 elk from 287 yards and with 50 year old eyes it’s not as easy as it used to be. I would have felt confident in shooting it at 500. It’s the best scope I’ve purchased, and the glass is better than my upper line Leupold and Steiner scopes. I’ll be buying another. In two and a half years the zero still holds. Once again buy the NF base and rings to go with it, they won’t let you down. ... show more
