This book is not just about what plants require to survive. It brings you more than that. The author explains why and how to solve issues you are experiencing with your plants. How and when to water. How and when to repot. These are a couple examples. There is also a section highlighting specific plants and their care. I have been a fan of Tanner & Erika and followed their store, live sales and shop stories for almost two years now. I have been a life long plant lover, even spending 6 years of high school and college working in a large family run greenhouse / nursery. Never have I felt as comfortable and successful with plants as I have over the past year or two. Receiving this book and having such a beautiful guide & instructions for success has been amazing. The gorgeous colorful photos and overall aesthetic is stunning while also soothing to the soul. I personally love Tanner’s take on those plants we all lose and up in the plant graveyard. Becoming part of the circle of life, fertilizer for the next cycle of plants, etc. Sometimes we learn more from our failures than our successes! I have lost my fair share of plants through the years; but my current collection is vast, gorgeous, and UN-complicated. Thanks to Tanner’s easy to understand care instructions - specific yet easy to follow light & water guides. Nothing fancy! He has made an intimidating hobby so much easier and joyful. It’s BEAUTIFUL! 🤩 Ever since that first cutting, gifted to me by my best friend, I’ve been a houseplant addict. I quickly scoured over social media trying to find houseplant enthusiasts for help and guidance. I found Tanner the Planter. He and Erika, his lovely wife, have changed my life. I now have over 150+ plants, 90% of them being purchased from Tanner. When I heard he was writing a book i immediately preordered it and FINALLY it’s here!
