  • Room for two, sturdy, smart design
First off let me say I ordered this towards the end of summer and have not had a chance to test outdoors hence the 4 stars, will update. The assembly is relatively easy, do tie the rods to the tip as instructed, not doing this as I found out the hard way is rather difficult. Two people will definitely make this easier to assemble than one. The rods are intelligently designed with an elastic running through each which consists of multiple independent sections, bendable and extremely sturdy. There is a cover for rain or open air for star gazing. Entrances and screening on both sides, and the "Night Cat" hit is sharp. I would recommend a padding but I'm sure a sleeping bag will also help, smar design overall. Folds easily as well, compact and easy-to-use. ... show more

  • Awesome army type tent
Color: Olive Green Size: Tent Pro-1 Person(7x3.8x3.8 ft)
My nephew asked for an army style backpack tent. He loved this. Easy to setup. Durable

  • It really does set up quickly
This weighs about a pound less than my other tent. It sets up even easier than my pup tent due to not having to thread the poles through sleeves on the outside of the tent. Instead you assemble the poles and the tent hangs on this framework of poles. All told if I had to put up tent in the rain this would be a good choice. ... show more

  • Perfect size for 1
Color: Army Green Size: Tent-1 Person(7x3.8x3.8ft)
Used for a few nights off grid solo and this was perfect. Easy to set up and break down. Backpacked in a few miles and this fit perfectly on a top roll of my pack (so small and lightweight I wrapped inside wool blanket roll). Plenty of space for 1 adult ! Great purchase at a fair price

  • This is a great buy for this price point
I like going motorcycle-camping, so I was happy to test this out. I have another tent from REI that is extremely similar in both size and setup, and this tent performed almost as well as the REI tent, which is twice the price. It's lightweight and easy to set up. I'd say it's more suited for one person and their luggage than for two people, elsewise prepare to get really cuddly. The ventilation worked decently; I tested it on a somewhat chilly night, this is definitely a 3-season tent. The front-style zip to the netting on the door was a bit tedious IMO, I'd have preferred the side-zip style. Still, more of a personal preference, it was perfectly functional. It looks good from the outside, and breakdown was fast and simple, and everything fit back into its bag nice and easy. Pros: -great little tent -extremely competitive at its price -lightweight, easy to set up and break down Cons: -chilly at night, if you want to camp in the autumn or spring, make sure you have good sleeping gear Overall: -If you're on a budget, this is your tent. ________________ My rating system: 5 Stars: Blew my mind, excellent. 4 Stars: Really good. 3 Stars: Average, nothing to write home about. 2 Stars: It has some problems. 1 Star: I don't like it and wouldn't get it. ... show more

  • Great lightweight backpacking tent
Color: Army Green Size: Tent-1 Person(7x3.8x3.8ft)
Took on a backpacking trip and it held up amazingly. Rained heavy and high winds and held up strong, didn’t leak a drop. 4 day backpacking trip ended with zero issues with the tent. I only upgraded to better stakes.

  • A good concept, but...
Color: Army Green Size: Tent-1 Person(7x3.8x3.8ft)
I have the 1-person model. Good news first: it does indeed weigh in at only 4 pounds, it actually fits in the smallish stuffsack provided, and (from the second time onwards) it is quick and easy to set up. It has the bathtub style floor, and looks to have good stitching and sealing on the seams. Waterproof as advertised. But there is some bad news too: It's small. It claims to be 210cm (6'10") long. Maybe if you stretch the floor very taut in the workshop. I am 175cm (5'9"); when I lie down in it and stretch out, my toes touch one wall and my hair touches the other. If you are tall, or you have one of the big 78-inch camping pads, you probably won't fit. Waterproofing the sides, and only having a rainfly over the air vent at the top, looks like a good idea on paper. But this means that your breath condenses on the inside walls of the tent. When you wake up in the morning, every wall of the tent is cold and wet. And just TRY to get dressed in such a small space without touching any of the 4 walls! Really, there's a good reason why most tents have a porous inner wall and and a waterproof outer wall. This keeps the inside dry. Finally, I had not realized from the pictures that it's the actual door of the tent which is being staked down to create that vestibule area. There isn't a separate vestibule fly and door, just a screen. If you stake out the door as shown in the pictures, you will have only a screen door, and in effect be sleeping outdoors all night. (I chose to stake the door touching the tent, rather than extending it a foot outward.) And, as such, maybe this is a 3-season tent in Texas, but the mountain northwest, I think it's a summer tent. Also a couple gotchas about your first setup and takedown: the instructions are very terse ("connect 2 poles and tie." Connect them to what? Tie what to what? They mean "fully extend the the two poles; tie the drawstring at the apex of the tent to the 2 poles where they cross; then insert the pole tips into the holes at each corner.") And when you fold it up to put it away, your natural inclination is to fold it lengthwise and roll it up, like you would a sleeping bag or pad. Nope, that doesn't work; the fabric is waterproof = airtight, and the only vents are in the center. You need to fold it in from the ends, leaving the center vents exposed, and roll it crosswise, so that you can push air out through the door until you're done rolling it up. Easy enough once you figure it out but you'll have a bear of time until you do. ... show more
