Not sure why more tents aren't designed like this one!? I've been out climbing and backpacking 1-3 nights every weekend since March, and struggled to find a tent I liked. Most one-man tents are too small for me and my dog, and even without my dog I couldn't sit up without touching ceiling and/or walls. 2-mans were too big for what we needed, and heavy. This one is so perfect it feels custom made for me and Remi! Love the double doors, so I can let Remi out from whatever side she decides is hers. Ventilation is amazing. Vestibules are roomy. I can set it up in a storm without getting the inside wet, it pops up with the footprint, inner tent and rain fly hooked. Seriously, why don't more backpacking tents perform like this one? It's not the lightest but it's very light, and not the cheapest but (ssshhh... ) underpriced for the quality and performance. Stayed dry in a wild Nevada summer storm. Put it up on a granite slab at 12,000 ft and tied it down with rocks. It's kept me cozy and dry in below freezing temps and cool in the 80's. It's not designed for snow but I'm gonna see how it does in the high desert in winter, and I'm taking it to Haleakala next week. Highly recommend. P.S. if you hike with a dog, get this one! Remi is 35lbs and we both can stretch out. I can also dress, sit up, move around and re-organize things without hitting ceiling or walls. Easiest set up ever. ... show more
