I could comfortably fit a single sleeper air mattress and my 72L pack in it. We got some heavy rain on the last day of our trip for about 6 hours straight and the tent really held up well. Update: The company reached out to me after seeing this review and offered to replace the entire item. I just requested new tent poles, and they shipped them with great urgency. I've yet to try out the new poles, but I can assure you that the next time I use the tent, that I'm going to use the proper guy wires. Goes up easy and I liked the 2 entry points. Got into some sustained 30mph winds at the coast and a tent pole broke. I fixed it as best I could and set out guy wires but the other pole broke the next night. Bought this tent to use for moto-camping and needed something that packs up small enough to fit into pannier bags. This thing packs up super small and sets up into a nice spacious one person tent. I was able to fit a back pack and plenty of other belongings if needed on the side of me at least a little over a foot of room after fitting a larger one person Trekology air mattress inside. The tent poles definitely don't have a lot of give and I can see why people have snapped them. Just don't force them to bend and work the tent material around them the first few times while setting up the tent. The material seems to stretch out a little which helps make the set up easier. The stakes that are included are basically worthless if you're not camping in fresh grass, they will bend way too easily. I ended up having to run and snag some Coghlan's aluminum tent stakes which made a HUGE difference. The tent itself is very well made and roomy for one, holds heat quite well. Didn't have a chance to test it out in the rain to see how it holds, but all the seams look to be sealed quite well from the inside of the tent. This tent is perfect, perfectly compact for one person & gear or two smallish adults! Tent was used for first time during a two day heavy rainstorm and wow, no leaks, stayed completely dry & cozy! Easy setup & take down, nice solid tent that will be around for years of use. Was looking at a 2 person tent from one of the high end sporting good stores and this Night Cat (in Army Green) is honestly better & the price was one third. This is a great starter tent, at a great price. It is a one person tent, but is almost 4 feet tall, over three feet wide, and 7 feet long. If you are 6 feet or under, you can easily put your gear at your feet and sleep two people side by side with room. I use it as a solo tent and it has a ton of space inside. It is waterproof when all closed up. But be careful, there is no vestibule, or cover over the door. My first time using the tent, it began to rain lightly before I could zip up the front door, and water did get inside. But only when the door was not zipped shut. Once I was in the tent for the night, It continued to rain with no water leaking inside at all. There was slight condensation the next morning, which was expected from a single wall tent. But for the money, it is very well made, with a bathtub flood, seam sealed, nice bid front doors, tons of room, packs up very small and light. Would definitely by another, or get one for a friend. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. JULY 27,2023 This tent is a 2 person tent. The height is tall. This tent is truly not a 1 person tent. Not compact. Even with aluminum upgrades to make this tent lighter. Tent is huge for backpacking. This tent needs to be smaller for this to be true 1 person backpacking tent. Height 52 inches. With 48 inches length 85 inches. Has cheap heavy fiber glass poles. Needs upgrade to aluminum poles separate purchase. Takes 1 pound off the tent deal. 3 pounds after 2 person tent upgrade. Still way to big for a 1 person tent. This fit 2 BACK pack single size m Air mattress inside tent. AUGUEST 11,2023 Update this company WARNING WILL NOT GIVE YOU YOUR REFUND BACK. Purchased this for a one night Tahoe backpacking / camping trip in September. Was easy enough to assemble and is quite light. However, the tent poles don't seem very durable and one of the tips already bent during assembly, making me pretty uncertain if it will last very long.
