I ordered 2 different vendors sets recently. This one is a slightly better quality, as it is made of a mix between synthetic and natural goat hair. For dry-brushing I usually favor synthetics, as they do resist much better to the harsh process of dry brushing and heavier required cleaning afterwards. You need to clean them thoroughly before use, as lint and lose hairs will come off. They are excellent for blocking basic color areas as well as wet blending them. Very good for dry brushing technique. Cleaning them is challenging and, given the fact that they do absorb a lot of moisture, I would recommend to always keep them outside of storage boxes of any kind. I do not have a high life expectancy with these, but given the very affordable pricing, this is an excellent offer for miniature painter enthusiasts.

Bought these for painting miniatures. This is a great variety of brushes for dry brushing small, medium, large, and extra large miniatures. Quality is top notch. Should last a very long time worth proper cleaning and care.

Good price good quality had a few straight hairs since my set of brushes had come loose so I'm guessing from shipping handling but nothing I couldn't get back straight, had shipping been a little better about handling the item better, I think the brushes wouldn't have had any issues . Less is more with these brushes, light in load heavy on the projects

I am actually impressed by how well they have worked for drybrushing/blending so far. The seller even included an insert about proper brush care and informing about the coating to protect the bristles in transit. Would have been a 4 star but this attention to detail bumped it up IMO.
