  • Can be applied with a brush
Color: Grey
Works quite well on 3D prints and UV resin, even when applied with a brush.

  • Good primer, but a little thick for my 0.3 mm airbrush
Color: Grey
I was looking for an alternative to my usual spray-can primer, which tends to have a noxious smell. This airbrush primer comes in a larger size while costing the same as a smaller spray can, making it a good value. However, it’s a bit thicker than expected, requiring some thinning to achieve smooth flow through my 0.3 mm airbrush nozzle. The instructions say you need a compressor and airbrush capable of at least 20 LPM (0.7 CFM), which is more than my small setup can produce. If applied too heavily, it can obscure small details, so a controlled approach is best—using light flow and swift, short sweeps helps preserve fine details. That said, it’s great for covering imperfections. Cleanup was straightforward and similar to acrylic paints, which is a plus. While the smell is noticeable, it’s far more tolerable than traditional spray-paint fumes, making for a much better painting experience overall. ... show more

  • New to me under coat

  • Decent coverage but strange smell
Color: White
This is pretty good acrylic primer. It has a thicker consistency than I expected but it still went on ok in a pretty even coat. The project I was using this for didn't require ultra accurate consistency with coat thickness though, so that could be part of why it worked so well for me. If your project requires more precision then make sure you doble check it'll work with your equipment. It sticks pretty well and has some good coverage. It's pretty easy to use, and I was even able to take a brush and do some touch ups in a tight spot that needed more precision afterward. This stuff has a strange smell compared to others I've used though. ... show more

  • Not as good as I thought it would be
Color: Grey
The bottle I received looked like it had sat on it's side for a very long time. Even though I shook it with a metal ball inside you could still see the un mixed paint on the side. The bottle was also only 2/3 full

  • Smooth Application and Excellent Coverage
Color: White
This primer is perfect for both beginners and experienced modelers. It sprays evenly, dries to a nice matte finish, and creates a great base for painting. Easy to clean up and no strong odor. Highly recommend for anyone using an airbrush.

  • Works just fine
Color: Grey
I do a lot of 3D printing and use primers all the time on my printed models. I don't use grey primer all that much 'cause I prefer using black, but this stuff works just fine, esp. when it comes to a thing called Zenithal Priming. I've started using this technique as a way to simulate shadowing using paint. The idea is to airbrush some 3d printed object or model or whatnot completely with black primer and then spray white or gray primer just from the top and a little maybe from the sides. This simulates sunlight falling onto your model. It makes highlighting and shading easier later by kind of building both into the primer layer of the paint itself. ... show more
