This set looks really nice, and the mounting bracket appears to be really solid. The bracket also comes with a flat as well as a rounded installation parts so it can go on just about any rail. The flag itself is well made, and the stitching looks nice. The things I don't like: The pole itself is in two parts and assembles with a screw mechanism that seems to work well but, the metal used in the pole is thin. Also, the flag is attached to the pole with metal wire that screws together---I would prefer standard flag clips.

This is one solid flag mount. It's the base that makes it very solid. All the rest of the parts keep the flag in place. Otherwise, the base is made very well with a very solid material. Once mounted, the base will stay in place firmly. As for the pole, it holds up to very strong gusts of wind while boating or kayaking. You can even mount this on your stairway railing too. It's that solid and will be able to mount on anything that has a ledge or a lip. As for the flag, it's stitched very well. The lines are very clean and there are no loose threads. As for the seams, they're stitched well too where it will not fray at all. The fabric used feels very durable and should handle the elements very well. I'm not sure if the fabric is UV resistant but I coated mine just in case. Overall, this is a good flag mount that should last you a very long time. I highly recommend adding a dab of oil on any clips or threading though. It's well worth it.

I have my pontoon put away for the winter, but I have this up in my garage just waiting for when I can mount it on the boat in spring. The clamp is high quality and very strong and the flag looks great. I like the size of the flag and the embroidered stars look perfect.

The flagpole holder is quite substantial and sturdy and the American flag is well made, too. The pole holder adjusts for horizontal display. The pole is 30 inches long. I am going to try to adapt it to display my garden flags horizontally on the porch.
