For the money these brushes are amazing and I own high end Princeton brushes and thus set almost seems like the same quality in build and performance. One thing you have to remember you get what you pay for. I purchased a cheap brush set before getting this one and wasted money when I should have got this set in the first place. These brushes are soft and leave no brush marks from what I can see, the sizes are perfect for painting miniatures, figures, and character busts. They hold paint really well, nope perfectly just the right amount. Without dumping the paint all over your model like Niagara falls like some of the cheaper brands tend to do. Super happy with these break or wear out I would definitely get another set. You can't go wrong with this brush set.

I grabbed this for a friend who is really into Warhammer 40k miniature painting. It's hard to find a quality set of brushes, so I thought that this would make a nice gift. He really likes it, says that the fine bristles really allow him to get eye/mouth details like he couldn't before. The stand up case is nice to prevent the bristles from getting bent. Overall, really nice kit.

I have found I like these brushes even more than the branded brushes I have in my collection. I am mainly a semi-pro artist, and the tip and fine hair on these brushes are perfect for my art businesses. They hold the paint but do not bleed it out as some of my other brushes do. The collection of the sizes has perfect choices for the thin to thick work I do. I have found they do clean a but more difficult, but they do not hold dried in paint.

I ordered this set of brushes for my wife who paints rocks. She started with paint marker pens, but for her, these didn't seem to work very well and led to a lot for frustration. Eventually, she turned to brushes and acrylic paints. This has worked out much better but as her style has developed, she has begun to reach for finer brushes that enable more details to be added to her images. A few weeks ago, these brushes came up on a Amazon search. The brushes are all round is shape and range in size from 5/0 to 8. So, this is a collection of all fine brushes. The bristles are high quality sable. And the ferrules are manufactured from seamless aluminum - for rust prevention - and double crimped for a strong attachment. We really like the handles which have a unique enlarged, triangular shaped bulge near the tip and are shorter than expected. Overall, the handles look and feel like a ball point pen barrel. For fine work or when using short strokes, they offer great control as you can grip the barrel very firmly between your fingers. And you hand is located close to the tip which again improves control. On the other handle this short handle and grip would not work very well for long, flowing strokes. The brush handles have a very smooth finish in a flat dark gray color. The brushes are very lightweight. Nearly weightless in fact and I cannot find any seams. It doesn't really matter but it's impossible to tell whether the handle is wood or plastic. In either case they work well. This is a very nice brush kit for working on fine details. The brushes are well made and feel good in the hand. And the price for the kit is very reasonable.

I paint D&D and WH40K minis, so I decided to get this set of brushes. They work very well, and seem to be higher quality than the ones I used to use. So far they are holding up very well, and I am making sure to treat them better than I usually do. Washing with brush soap and such. I will update the review if any issues arise, but so far they are working great!!
