We received the bicycle today. My son was so excited and he can’t even ride it. Assembly was fine until we got to the left pedal it will not go on at all. I also felt by looking at the packaging that this may have been a return and not a new one. I’ll show you at with pictures. Contacted customer service hoping I wouldn’t have to take the bike down and try to fit it back in the box properly… Well the company doesn’t send replacement parts so I’ll be taking it down. Although it’s going to be hell getting it back in the box. They gave me a refund so I’ll buy it again and see if the second time is a charm. Will do an update later. Update: After many attempts to get the pedal on I did what I call molding it in and it worked. My son is now able to ride the bike and I won’t be sending it back. Taking it apart was going to be a hassle so I kept trying with the pedal and I’m happy that I did because it finally went in the hole. Whew… ... show more

This just came in yesterday for my grandson, and he absolutely loves it. It was easy to assemble, the tires needed more air before he could ride it. After riding it all day, he managed to break one side of the cover that sits in front of the handlebars. that part is only plastic with a screw inside and isn't easy to replace. the other side still holds the cover in place, so he still is happy with his "Chase Bike" ... show more

The bike is okay. It didn’t come the correct directions to put it together. I had to search for the accurate instructions on You Tube.

    • Where's the instructions???
So this bike came with an owners manual for a different bike, one with handbrakes. The difference between an owner's manual and an instruction book is that the manual doesn't tell you how to put it together- it just names the parts. Fine, whatever. It's a kid's bike. How hard can it be? I got to work putting it together for my kid's upcoming birthday. One pedal went on fine. The other had to be forced, and getting a grip on it was difficult since the pedal itself spins while you're trying to tighten a bolt in a very small space. It definitely looks like that bolt was slightly bigger than the other. Finally got it on. The front wheel, seat, and training wheels went on without issue. Then it came time to put on the handlebars. If you've never seen this done, I wish you luck and recommend you check YouTube. That's what got me through this nightmare. The box didn't come with an Allen key to tighten it, so I had to improvise with a makeshift one while trying to hold that awkward metal piece at the bottom in place while simultaneously inching the Allen screw around with a file piece on my multi-tool. Almost broke my multi-tool trying to get it tight enough to turn the wheel without the handlebars coming loose. I can already tell that it's going to have to be retightened often. Now that the bike was finally assembled, I flipped it over to check how well the back tire turned. Given the quality of the rest of the pieces, I wasn't shocked to discover that it's super tight. My 4yo is definitely going to get a workout trying to get this thing to move, but I'm hoping it loosens up over time to make forward motion easier. Honestly, I expected better from a Nickelodeon branded item. It's too late to send it back for a replacement, so I'm hoping this thing actually lasts for more than a few months. UPDATE. We've had the bike for about two months. The pedals fall off no matter how many times I tighten them and the handlebars are constantly crooked. No amount of tightening has fixed either issue and I am beyond mad considering how much this bike cost. ... show more

I had to purchase a new front tube because the valve was defective. It would not hold air pressure. Everything else was great. The grand kid is ready to ride after I installed the tube.
