I went from the OEM Grom chain to a Renthal non o-ring chain, but encountered issues during a week long period of rain. I could not keep the non o-ring chain clean enough for my daily 70 mile commute to work. This x-ring chain has been a vastly superior alternative to the more common non o-ring 420 pitch chains for daily use. I also find it to be far quieter than the Renthal non o-ring chain, which itself was a huge improvement over the OEM (which sounded like a bucket of nails dumped into a Ford Ranger transmission). Perfect upgrade if you’re upgrading your Sur-Ron to a 54t sprocket or any sprocket, really. Power delivery is so much smoother compared to the stock chain and is “slightly quieter” than stock chain too (it did make my bike sound like a Talaria now but I love the sound of that too). This went pefectly on my bone-stock 2017 klx110. No chain breaker needed. I would verify the gearing on your bike before ordering, this one is good for stock sets. I also recommend checking the chain guide (PN: 120530164) on the front sprocket. If your chain comes off left and right, this is likely the reason and you won't see it until you pull the cover off. It's steel so you can hammer it back into shape, but it's probably cheap enough to simply replace if it's mangled up. ... show more
